The Dallas Cowboys head to the nation's capital to face the Washington Football Team in NFL Week 7.

The Cowboys were preseason Super Bowl contenders, but a terrible defense and an injury-plagued offense have them off to a 2-4 start. Washington has been exactly as bad as most people thought, coming off a painful 20-19 loss to the lowly New York Giants.

NFL betting lines have this game as a pick'em with the total at 46. We break down the NFL odds with our Cowboys vs. Washington picks and predictions for Sunday, October 25, with kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.

Against the spread (ATS) pick

The line for this game opened on Tuesday with the Cowboys as 3-point faves but was quickly bet down to a pick'em. That puts the betting value on a Dallas side that regardless of its recent play is still much more talented than Washington

While the season-ending injury to quarterback Dak Prescott hurts, his replacement Andy Dalton is still a more experienced passer than Washington's Kyle Allen and has superior weapons in Ezekiel Elliot, Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb.

Elliot in particular should be able to do damage against a Washington run defense that surrenders 130 yards per game on the ground.

With the Cowboys 5-1 straight up and ATS in the last six meetings between these NFC East rivals, back them again on Sunday.

PREDICTION: Dallas PK (-110)

Over/Under pick

The injury to Prescott obviously hurts but the biggest blow to the Cowboys offense might be their injuries on the line. Dallas had one of the top offensive lines in the league for years but lost center Travis Frederick to retirement in the offseason, have both starting tackles on the IR, and now All-Pro guard Zack Martin is questionable for Week 7 while recovering from a concussion.

With Dalton under center last week, the Cowboys averaged just 3.3 yards per play and while their defense has been brutal, Washington's offense is even worse. Washington is averaging just 18 points per game and couldn't break the 20-point plateau against weak defenses like the Browns and Giants. Take the Under.

PREDICTION: Under 46 (-110)

Player Prop Pick

The Cowboys defense has been absolutely shredded through the air and has really missed free-agent departure Byron Jones at cornerback. The Cowboys secondary has allowed the fifth-most yards in the NFL to opposing wideouts and is also surrendering a whopping 11.8 yards per completion, which ranks 30th in the league.

That's bad news against a deep threat like Washington's Terry McLaurin. The second-year wideout has eclipsed the 70-yard receiving mark in four of his last five contests and is easily Kyle Allen's top target.

Look for the speedster to get lots of looks on Sunday and take the Over on his receiving yards.

PREDICTION: Terry McLaurin Over 72.5 receiving yards (-120)
