DK Metcalf has had enough of the Seattle Seahawks, with the hulking wide receiver requesting a trade after six seasons in the Pacific Northwest.

It appears the franchise is open to dealing the 6-foot-4, 235-pound wideout, who not only wants to play for a contender but is aiming for a long-term deal wherever he may land, with his target number at $30 million a year.

Even before any contract discussions, DK Metcalf odds won’t come cheap in terms of trade assets. According to reports, Seattle is asking for a first and third-round draft pick in return.

Those perimeters make for a short list of suitors, should some team actually meet those demands. Here’s a look at who the NFL odds believe has a shot at making Metcalf their star receiver.

DK Metcalf next team odds (if not Seahawks)

Team DraftKings
Packers Green Bay Packers +190
Chargers Los Angeles Chargers +450
49ers San Francisco 49ers +600
Rams Los Angeles Rams +750
Giants New York Giants +850
Broncos Denver Broncos +1000
Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers +1000
Patriots New England Patriots +1000
Raiders Las Vegas Raiders +1600

Odds as of 3-5-2025

Packers Green Bay Packers (+190)

Although the Green Bay Packers boast a deep receiving corps, they possess no true No. 1 WR.

DK Metcalf would immediately fill that void, teaming up with quarterback Jordan Love as the future pass-catch combo. The Cheeseheads could soften the Seahawks’ ask on the draft picks by sending them a receiver in return, like Dontayvion Wicks.

Chargers Los Angeles Chargers (+450)

This seems like the ideal fit for Metcalf and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Seahawks can send DK out of conference, giving QB Justin Herbert a nice one-two punch with Metcalf and Ladd McConkey.

Los Angeles has the 22nd pick in the draft, which is moveable, and it just dropped LB Joey Bosa, freeing up $25.36 million in cap space. That’s awfully close to the $30 million Metcalf is asking for.

49ers San Francisco 49ers (+600)

The gap is there for the San Francisco 49ers, with Deebo Samuel being shipped off to Washington and a top WR spot vacant alongside Brandon Aiyuk.

However, Seattle could be hesitant to trade Metcalf within the division.

Rams Los Angeles Rams (+750)

The Los Angeles Rams will need a top-tier WR if they do part ways with Cooper Kupp, but seeing the Seahawks bolster a divisional foe isn’t a good look for the franchise.

Giants New York Giants (+850)

Adding Metcalf to the opposite sideline of Malik Nabers is a scary thought for NFC East defenses, but who the hell is going to throw them the ball?

The New York Giants have a big question surrounding their future QB, and New York doesn’t fit the “contender” ask from Metcalf.

Broncos Denver Broncos (+1,000)

The Denver Broncos are ahead of schedule after a stellar 2024 season, and Bo Nix proved he’s a pro-ready passer, despite ho-hum options downfield.

Metcalf would give Denver much-needed receiving depth around Courtland Sutton.

Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers (+1,000)

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been searching for a top-tier receiver for a long time, and DK’s former QB Russell Wilson was stoking the trade fires on social media, posting a picture of himself, Metcalf, and their famous significant others (Ciara and Normani) immediately following the trade request.

This only works if Wilson is in Pittsburgh’s plans for 2025.

Patriots New England Patriots (+1,000)

The New England Patriots have a promising QB in Drake Maye, plenty of money, and the assets to sweeten the deal with the Seahawks. New England is in desperate need of receiving help, and Metcalf would be an instant fix.

At the same time, the Pats aren’t contenders, and those cold winter Sundays in Foxborough are a hard sell.

Raiders Las Vegas Raiders (+1,600)

Do you want a live long shot to land Metcalf? You’ve got it with the Las Vegas Raiders. Metcalf loves Pete Carroll, who infamously went “shirts off” for his draft interview with the muscle-bound Metcalf before selecting him in the second round in 2019.

Vegas has the draft picks to make the deal and the cap space to lure DK, as well as some other free agents. Money talks, especially in Sin City.
