Eagles vs Rams picks

Eagles vs Rams expert picks & predictions

Pick: Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown (-110 at bet365)

As goes Jalen Hurts, so does the Philadelphia Eagles offense.

Josh Inglis points to the Eagles QB's prowess on the ground as his favorite angle for tonight's bout under the prime-time lights.

"Hurts has been solely responsible for nine of the team’s 21 TDs over this six-game heater. No running back has more rushing TDs since Week 6 than the Philly signal caller, who is still a very reasonable -110 at bet365 to score a TD."

With DeVonta Smith's status up in the air, the passing game may not be as robust — even though A.J. Brown can do the heavy lifting on his own — which only adds to Hurts' value. But Inglis likes this bet even if the mobile QB isn't constantly on the run.

"I don’t even need Hurts to have a big game rushing the ball. His red-zone role is massive with 22 RZ carries for nine TDs since Week 6 with just one game of 60+ yards rushing. Those 22 carries inside the 20-yard line would rank Hurts behind only Joe Mixon and Derrick Henry since Week 6."

Eagles vs Rams prop pick

Pick: Matthew Stafford Over 0.5 interceptions (-130 at bet365)

Rohit Ponnaiya has his eyes set on the home side's offense, but he isn't entirely expecting great things from veteran Matthew Stafford.

"Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has been throwing for plenty of yards in recent weeks, but he's a gunslinger with a tendency to turn the ball over.

"Stafford has thrown an interception in six of his last seven games while committing 14 turnover-worthy plays this year — the fifth-highest number in the NFL. He'll have a much tougher matchup this week against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has been flying high under Vic Fangio."

The Eagles feature a ball-hawking defense that excels in the pass rush, forcing opposing QBs to make mistakes on the regular. So even if Stafford racks up the volume out of necessity, he will get picked off at least once.

Jalen Hurts prop pick

Pick: Jalen Hurts Over 218.5 passing yards (-110 at bet365)

Let's get a little more Hurts in our diet.

Sam Farley likes the QB to also attack the Rams through the air.

"(Hurts has) been better with his arm across the last month, throwing Over 218.5 passing yards in three of his last four games and only going Under that total in four of 10.

"The Rams haven’t been great against the pass, and their defense has the 11th-worst record in terms of passing yards, giving up an average of 223.3 per game."

This doesn't contradict Inglis, either, as Hurts and Brown can hook up through the air on the march downfield before he punches it in on the goal line.

Eagles vs Rams SNF same-game parlay

Jalen Hurts anytime TD

Puka Nacua 70+ receiving yards

Cooper Kupp 70+ receiving yards

While Josh likes Hurts to score, he also expects Stafford and the Rams to air the ball out, especially if they're playing from behind. So, he's targeting L.A. wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua to each clear 70+ receiving yards in the milestone betting market.

"Both (Kupp and Nacua) project for 70+ yards from THE BLITZ and since the duo have returned, they are gobbling up 55% of the targets and 64% of the air yards. Nacua has yet to be held to under 98 yards in his three full games while Kupp has gone for 104, 80, and 106 yards since coming back."
