The Eagles opened as -3.5 favorites and have gone between that number and -2.5 all week long. They’ve settled as -3 favorites, which is a number I’d take given the Giants’ lackluster performances this season.
Giants vs. Eagles moneyline prediction
Likewise, the Eagles are now -155 on the moneyline after opening at -165. They got to as low as -135 briefly on Thursday morning but this number seems fair given the circumstances. I would go with the Birds to close things out at home with a win.
Giants vs. Eagles total prediction
The total is set at a low 38.5, which makes sense since neither team has much to play for. Still, the Eagles can probably put up nearly 30 points themselves even with their backups in and the Giants should be good for a score or two.
My best bet
Jake Elliott Over 1.5 extra points (-166 at BetMGM)
My analysis
There are a few positions where NFL teams simply can’t rest their starter and one of them is kicker. Sure, they could bring someone up from the practice squad or let the punter (or someone else) take a try, but Jake Elliott should be ready to go for Week 18.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ team total is hovering around 20 so the oddsmakers do expect a bit of scoring from the Birds. Tanner McKee is getting the start under center for the Eagles after going 3 for 4 with two touchdowns in a brief relief appearance last week. While that was with the offensive starters, the Eagles have the depth for him to put up a solid showing on Sunday.
Beyond McKee, the Eagles’ offensive line has been a force all year in front of Saquon Barkley and that won’t change despite the lessened personnel. The Birds should be able to find the end zone multiple times and Elliott has made multiple extra points in eight straight games and 12 of his last 13 overall.

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers has been a consistent threat all season long. He’s racked up 1,140 yards in 14 games with at least 70 yards in seven of them. He was held to a season-low 41 yards on four catches (eight targets) in the first meeting, but the Birds won’t have their lockdown secondary in place for this one.
