The Joey Bosa era ended unceremoniously this week as the Los Angeles Chargers cut the talented DE/LB to save $25.3 million against the salary cap.

After nine seasons with the Bolts, Bosa will now be able to choose his next destination. The five-time Pro-Bowler should have no shortage of suitors, but is there one team that stand out above the rest?

Let's dive into the latest Joey Bosa odds.

Joey Bosa next team favorites

San Francisco 49ers

Will the Bosa brothers be united? Nick Bosa has been terrorizing opposing offenses for the 49ers since 2019, winning Defensive Rookie of the Year just like his older brother and adding a DPOY award to his mantle in 2022.

Just like Joey, Nick is a five-time Pro-Bowler, so this would be quite the fearsome pair for opposing QBs to work against.

If the Bosa's mother, Cheryl, has anything to say about it, San Francisco will pull it off and have her sons on the same side of the ball for the first time since they were in high school.

Los Angeles Chargers

Bosa is a beast when he's healthy, but he's had his share of injuries over the last few years, making his $36.5 million cap hit tough to swallow for the Chargers. But could they bring him back at a discount?

He already took a pay cut in 2024 to stay with L.A., expressing his desire to win with the club rather than go chasing a ring or the biggest paycheck.

"I want to win. I want to be on this team. I want another shot with the guys in this room, especially Khalil [Mack]," Bosa told ESPN last June. "And winning football games is more important to me right now than making some extra money. So I think we have a great opportunity here, and who knows, maybe I'll have a great year this year, and then things can change down the road."

Detroit Lions

The loss of Aidan Hutchinson brought to light just how desperately the Lions need another effective pass rusher. Marcus Davenport potentially leaving in free agency won't help matters for Detroit either.

Bosa could fit right in on a Super Bowl contender like the Lions.
