Week 10 in the NFL features a game between NFC North rivals as Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears are set to face off at Soldier Field.

Both teams are near the bottom of the league standings but have been relatively competitive this season. Six of the last seven meetings between these two have also been decided by a single score.

NFL betting odds hit the board with the Bears installed as 3-point home favorites for this showdown with the Over/Under at 48.5. Here are our best free NFL picks and predictions for Lions vs. Bears on November 13.

Lions vs Bears best odds

Lions vs Bears picks and predictions

Justin Fields set the quarterback record for most rushing yards in a single game last week when he rushed for 178 yards on 15 carries.

Expecting him to do that again might be unrealistic, but he did rush for at least 60 yards in his previous three games as well, averaging 76.7 rushing yards and 11.3 carries per game in those contests.

Now he takes on a toothless Lions defense that is 28th in the league in rush EPA and allowed Jalen Hurts to scramble for 90 yards in Week 1.

Hurts was the only mobile quarterback that Detroit had faced this season, but with Fields lining up in the backfield on a cold Sunday, I'm expecting them to get gashed on the ground again.

My best bet: Justin Fields Over 58.5 rushing yards (-115)

Lions vs Bears spread analysis

Don't look now, but the Bears have scored at least 29 points in three-straight games, with two of those contests coming on the road against Dallas and New England. On Sunday, they lost 35-32 to Miami despite a huge game from Justin Fields.

The Lions are coming off a 15-9 upset win against the Packers, where their defense came up big to pick off Aaron Rodgers three times while forcing the Pack to go 0-4 in the red zone.

Strangely enough, their three previous games came against the Dolphins at home and the Patriots and Cowboys on the road.

The Lions also lost a close, high-scoring game to the Phins but struggled to move the ball in Dallas and New England, scoring a total of just six points in those road tilts.

These teams have now played against six common opponents this season, with the Lions going 2-4 straight up (3-3 against the spread) in those contests and the Bears 1-5 SU (2-4 ATS).

The Bears don't have many weapons in the passing game, but David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert have emerged as a formidable running back duo, while Fields can make magic happen with his feet.

They should be able to pick up yards on the ground against a soft Lions defense, but they'll like also give up plenty of yards to a capable Detroit offense.

The Lions traded away tight end TJ Hockenson, but they still have weapons in wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back D'Andre Swift. Jared Goff is also a reliable (if unspectacular veteran) at QB, and he'll have time to throw behind a stout Lions offensive line.

Lions vs Bears Over/Under analysis

Towards the end of last season and the start of this year, the Lions were rolling on offense. However, they've struggled over the last four games, where they have scored more than 15 points just once.

That said, they should be able to bounce back on Sunday against a Bears defense that is 29th in the NFL in EPA/play while ranking 31st in DVOA defense, according to Football Outsiders. That Chicago stop unit got even worse at the trade deadline after trading away defensive end Robert Quinn and All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith.

The Lions are just as bad on the defensive side of the ball and rank dead-last in EPA/play while sitting 26th in DVOA. That's bad news against a Chicago offense that has been moving the ball very well in recent weeks and is averaging an incredible 245 rushing yards per game and 5.7 yards per carry over their last three contests.

While the Bears don't have the vertical passing game to take advantage of Detroit's flaws in the secondary, they'll be able to run the ball down the throat of a Lions team that allows 5.0 yards per carry.
