Odds have hit the board, and Garrett should wind up on a competitive and contending team with a hole on the defensive side, particularly in the form of an All-Pro EDGE rusher, if he's granted his wish, although Browns GM Andrew Berry recently said he would not trade Garrett.
Let's look at a few teams that could conceivably be in play for the veteran during the offseason, focusing on a few favorites in the NFL odds.

Myles Garrett notable favorites
Cleveland Browns (+300)
Myles Garrett has spent his entire eight-year career with the Cleveland Browns, enduring ups and downs (mostly downs) despite consistently performing at an All-Pro level. He has recorded double-digit sacks in every season except his rookie campaign, totaling 102.5 in 117 games and setting an NFL record this year by tallying 14 sacks in three straight years.
Any number of teams will be lining up to obtain his services should Cleveland acquiesce. Given that most of his salary is actually made up of bonuses, Garrett's cap hit is relatively minimal, making his contract very tradeable, as SB Nation's Matt Warren points out. With two years remaining on his current deal, an acquiring team may also look to extend him.
With his next bonus due March 16, the Browns could trade him sooner to get out from under that financial commitment.
However, while the contract is appealing to others, it may still be of more value to Cleveland — and GM Andrew Berry. Imagine being the executive who spearheaded the Deshaun Watson debacle and then traded away the best defensive player in franchise history. It's in Berry's best interest to smooth things over with Garrett and attempt a very quick rebuild to regain trust. Otherwise, he might not be around to see Cleveland's next contending team, either.
Washington Commanders (+450)
Why not join a team on the rise?
The Washington Commanders went 12-5 and reached the NFC Championship Game, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles. While they ultimately got blown out of the water, this season was a rousing success for rookie QB Jayden Daniels & Co. It was Washington's first winning season since going 8-7-1 in 2016 and featured the franchise's first playoff victory since 2005.
Head coach Dan Quinn has helped usher in a new era, and what better way to build on that success than by adding potentially the best defensive player in the game?
Las Vegas Raiders (+650)
The Las Vegas Raiders seem like an outlier, at least in terms of Garrett's preferences. This team went 4-13 in 2024 and is a bit of a mess on all sides of the ball.
However, the Raiders just hired 73-year-old Pete Carroll to serve as the head coach, and there won't be any waiting around. Vegas will look to immediately improve its ranks.
Detroit Lions (+750)
The Detroit Lions looked like a Super Bowl contender for most of the 2024 season and ultimately came up short in a surprising 41-31 loss to the Washington Commanders in the NFC Divisional Round.
Would he complement a healthy Aidan Hutchinson? You'd have to think so. The Lions had an explosive offense and were wildly injured on defense. Getting Hutchinson back is already huge, but adding a player of Garrett's caliber would go a long way toward creating a more complete roster.
Plus, Garrett would likely gel well with head coach Dan Campbell's punch-them-in-the-mouth mentality.
