Opening line

Rams -5, Over/Under 45

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:50 P.M. ET THURSDAY: PointsBet USA started this game at Rams -6 and is down to -4.5, though 56 percent of tickets and 62 percent of dollars are on Los Angeles. The total bounced from 44.5 to 45.5, then down to 43 and is now 43.5, with 52 percent of bets/60 percent of money on the Under. On the prop bet of player to score the first touchdown, Patriots QB Cam Newton (6/1) is drawing the most tickets, followed closely by a trio of Rams: wideouts Robert Woods (9/1) and Cooper Kupp (9/1), and tight end Tyler Higbee (22/1).

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Los Angeles opened -6 at FanDuel and quickly went to -6.5 Sunday night, but the line has crept down ever since and is now -4.5. Still, the Rams are taking 63 percent of bets and 62 percent of money on the spread. The total dropped two points from 45.5 to 43.5 on two-way action, with 51 percent of bets on the Under and 58 percent of cash on the Over.

UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The SuperBook at Westgate opened the Rams -5 and got to -6 in quickly Sunday night, but the line then reverted to -4.5 a couple of times, including in just the past hour. "Good two-way action," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said. The total is down to 44 from an opener of 45.

UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: DraftKings opened the Rams -6.5 and is down to -5 on two-way action, with the Patriots getting 58 percent of bets and money split right down the middle. The total moved from 45.5 to 44 to 45, with 72 percent of bets and 68 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE 10:45 P.M. ET TUESDAY: The Rams opened -6 and first moved to -6.5 at FanDuel, fell to -5 by this afternoon, then inched to -5.5. The Patriots are landing 58 percent of tickets and 60 percent of money so far. FanDuel opened the total 45.5 and is down to 44.5, though the Over is landing 63 percent of money and 74 percent of cash thus far.

---

Los Angeles outgunned Arizona in Week 13, 38-28, while New England boatraced the L.A. Chargers 45-0 on the road. That made things a little more challenging for SuperBook oddsmakers.

"The Patriots destroyed the Chargers today, and we opened the Patriots a 5-point underdog vs. the Rams, which was a little lower than our look-ahead line," Murray said. "We took money on the Rams right away and bumped the line up to Rams -6. It should be a pretty-good-handle Thursday game. We will take money both ways."

There was no movement Sunday night on the total of 45.

UPDATE 9 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Green Bay stuck at -7.5 all week at FanDuel, then jumped to -8.5 Friday, with 86 percent of spread bets and 89 percent of spread money on the Packers. UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Packers moved from -7.5 to -8.5 and back to -7.5 at DraftKings, although they are attracting 70 percent of bets and 79 percent of dollars on the spread. UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Titans stuck at -7.5 all week and are currently -7.5 (even) at BetMGM Nevada. "Tickets 4/1 Titans, money roughly 3/1 Titans," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said. "Parlay/teaser tickets are 6/1 on the Titans, with a lot of money."

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: DraftKings opened the Titans -6.5 Sunday night and spent most of the week bouncing between -7 and -7.5, and the line currently sits at -7.5. Ticket count is pretty good two-way, with 55 percent on Tennessee, but the Titans are landing 77 percent of spread money. The total is down to 52.5 from 53.5 on two-way action, with 55 percent of bets and 51 percent of money on the Over.

---

Tennessee laid a huge first-half egg Sunday against Cleveland, falling behind 38-7 at halftime, then nearly made it all up in a 41-35 Week 13 loss. Jacksonville was a 10-point underdog at Minnesota and forced overtime, but lost 27-24.

The Titans opened -7.5 at The SuperBook and dipped to -7 for a bit Sunday night, before returning to -7.5. The total was stable at 53.

Cincinnati took a 7-0 first-quarter lead at Miami, but that was it in a 19-7 loss. Dallas is playing the Week 13 waiting game, traveling to Baltimore for a Tuesday night contest. Why the line moved

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET SUNDAY: PointsBet opened Arizona -3 and spent most of the week at -2.5. The Cards are taking 59 percent of tickets and money. The total moved from 45 to 47, but the Under is getting 53 percent of bets/61 percent of cash.

UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Arizona opened -2.5 at The SuperBook, bounced to -2 a couple of times this week and then went to -1.5 this morning. UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Cardinals are pinned to -2.5 at DraftKings, despite early tickets and money both running beyond 3/1 in favor of Arizona.

---

New York got one of the larger upsets of the season in Week 13, traveling to Seattle, fielding backup QB Colt McCoy and shocking the Seahawks 17-12. Arizona couldn't keep up with the L.A. Rams in a track-meet fourth quarter, losing 38-28. The Cardinals opened -2.5 at The SuperBook, with no line movement Sunday night.

---

Denver made a respectable showing in the Week 13 Sunday nighter at Kansas City, losing 22-16. Meanwhile, Carolina is rested and ready, coming off a bye week that might allow for the return of star running back Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers opened -3.5 at The SuperBook, and the game came off the board once the Broncos kicked off against the Chiefs. The line will go back up Monday morning.

Opening line

---

Tom Brady and Tampa Bay are coming off a bye week, while Minnesota is coming off back-to-back tight wins to stay in the NFC playoff picture. On Sunday, the Vikings escaped with a 27-24 overtime win laying 10.5 points against visiting Jacksonville.

"We opened the Bucs -6.5 and are still there," Murray said Sunday night. "The Vikings will be one of our bigger needs of the week, with the Bucs coming off a bye week and the Vikes looking so mediocre today."

The total was also stable Sunday night at 52.

Opening line

Dolphins +7.5, Over/Under TBA

Why the line moved

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Chiefs moved from -7.5 to -7 at BetMGM Nevada. "Tickets 1.5/1 on the Chiefs, but more money, almost 2/1, on the Dolphins," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said. "Parlay/teaser tickets are 2.5/1 Chiefs, but money is close. Not really a decision at all yet."

UPDATE 9 P.M. ET SATURDAY: FanDuel has moved the Chiefs from -7.5 to -7 a couple of times, and the number is -7 tonight, with 74 percent of tickets and cash on Kansas City. The total is up two points to 50.5, with 63 percent of tickets/82 percent of money on the Over.

"We opened Chiefs -7.5, and the game is off the board now with the Chiefs playing on Sunday Night Football," Murray said during the Denver-KC game. "The Dolphins will be one of our biggest needs of the week next Sunday. The Chiefs will be in every moneyline parlay and teaser."

Opening line

Raiders +3, Over/Under TBA

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Indianapolis moved from -2.5 to -3 and back to -2.5 at FanDuel, with tickets and money running 4/1 on the visiting Colts. The total bumped around a bit, from 51 to 50.5 to 52.5, and it's now 51.5, but tickets and money are running 5/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 1:20 P.M. "This could potentially be good two-way, as well, but with the game on 3 'dog -120, it's tough to tell," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said. "I would think the public would back Indy at that price or less, but you have to remember, we're a 'Raiders book' and will have volume on them almost every time they're on TV. That includes this Sunday, of course."

UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Indianapolis ticked from -2.5 to -3 this afternoon at DraftKings, with 77 percent of spread bets and 91 percent of spread money on the Colts.

---

Las Vegas nearly gave the New York Jets their first victory of the season, but the Raiders pulled out a 31-28 road win on a 46-yard Derek Carr-to-Henry Ruggs TD pass in the waning seconds Sunday. Meanwhile, Indianapolis held off Houston 26-20.

"We opened Raiders +3 and took some money on the 'dog, and moved them to +3 (-120)," Murray said. "Las Vegas was very, very fortunate to escape with a win today and will face a formidable Colts defense next week. I still think this will be one of the rare instances in which we are rooting for the favorite. This town loves betting on the Raiders."

---

New York's season of utter failure continued in Week 13, when the Jets (0-12 SU) allowed a 46-yard touchdown pass with five seconds remaining in a 31-28 home loss to Las Vegas. Seattle got stung Sunday, too, in a shocking 17-12 home loss as 11-point chalk against the New York Giants.

Still, SuperBook oddsmakers didn't hesitate to hang the Seahawks -14 against the Jets. Within about an hour, the line dropped to -13, then ticked up to -13.5 a few minutes later Sunday night. The total held firm at 47 Sunday night.

Opening line

Chargers +2.5, Over/Under 49.5

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Falcons opened -1.5 at FanDuel and got to -2.5, but this line jumped the fence over the weekend and is now Chargers -1.5. Atlanta is attracting 59 percent of tickets and money on the spread. The total went from 49.5 to 50, then peeled back to 48.5, but tickets and money are both more than 9/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 1:20 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Atlanta shifted from -2.5 to -3 early in the week at DraftKings, but by Saturday night, this game was down to pick, and it jumped the fence this morning to Los Angeles -1. Interestingly, though, the Falcons are taking 61 percent of tickets and 59 percent of dollars on the spread. The total moved from 49.5 to 50, then down to 49, but the Over is taking 86 percent of bets and 89 percent of cash.

UPDATE 9 P.M. ET SATURDAY: FanDuel moved Atlanta from -1.5 to -2.5, then receded to -1 tonight, with the Falcons drawing 62 percent of tickets and 67 percent of money. UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Saints opened -6.5 at The SuperBook and spent a couple of days at -7 before dipping back to the opener late Wednesday night. "We took a big bet on Giants +7 Tuesday, so we currently need New Orleans," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said. "But that will likely change as public players get involved, assuming the line stays where it is or goes down."

---

New Orleans continues weathering the loss of Drew Brees, with backup Taysom Hill helping the Saints go 3-0 SU and ATS while stretching the team's overall streak to 5-0 SU and ATS. Now, there's a chance Brees could return this week from multiple cracked ribs.

Pittsburgh opened -2.5 Sunday night, and by lunch hour Tuesday, the line jumped the fence to Bills -1.5 on the way to Bills -2.5. Buffalo is attracting 59 percent of early spread bets and 66 percent of early spread dollars. The total is pinned to 46.5, though 74 percent of bets/87 percent of dollars are on the Over.

Pittsburgh and Buffalo also have unfinished Week 13 business. The undefeated Steelers host Washington in a 5 p.m. ET Monday kick, and the Bills meet the 49ers in a Monday night game moved to the Arizona Cardinals' home stadium due to COVID restrictions in Santa Clara County, Calif.

"The Steelers are -1.5 for now, but both teams play Monday, so we may see an adjustment before this game," Murray said. "It sets up to be a big public play on the Steelers, and the house will likely need the Bills pretty big in this game."

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Less than an hour before kickoff, PointsBet USA has the Monday nighter at Ravens -3, up from the opener of Ravens -1. However, the Browns are taking 54 percent of tickets and 78 percent of money on the point spread. The total moved from 46.5 to 47, then down to 45.5, although the Over is attracting 58 percent of tickets/81 percent of dollars. Lamar Jackson (+950) leads the ticket count on the ever-popular prop bet of player to score the first touchdown, with the Ravens QB landing more than 19 percent of bets. Browns running back Nick Chubb (7/1) is second at 14 percent of tickets, with no other player cracking a double-digit percentage.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Baltimore started at -2.5 very early last Monday at FanDuel, initially dipped to -1, then crept to -3 by Saturday, which is where the line remains now. However, Cleveland is attracting 58 percent of bets and 57 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 46.5 to 47.5, then receded to 45.5, with 60 percent of tickets/56 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: DraftKings opened Baltimore -1.5 on Wednesday morning, bounced between that number and -1 numerous times, then got to -2.5 Thursday and hit -3.5 a couple of times Sunday and today. The number is currently Ravens -3, with the Browns actually taking 57 percent of tickets and 60 percent of money on the spread. The total opened at 46.5, hit a low of 45.5 a couple of times, peaked at 47.5 and is now 46, with ticket count 3/1 and money 2/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Baltimore moved between -1.5 and -1 numerous times early in the week, got to -2.5 Thursday and over the weekend has surged to -3.5 at DraftKings. However, it's two-way action, with the Ravens landing 55 percent of bets/56 percent of money.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET FRIDAY: This line went up Wednesday at DraftKings and spent the past two days bouncing between Ravens -1.5 and -1, then jumped to -2.5 Thursday, and it's now at -2. However, the Browns are taking 60 percent of tickets and 56 percent of money thus far. The total moved from 45.5 to 47, with 85 percent of bets and 91 percent of cash on the Over.

Cleveland was beating the daylights out of Tennessee at halftime Sunday, leading 38-7, but then had to hang on for a 41-35 victory. Meanwhile, Baltimore's Week 13 game isn't until Tuesday, when it hosts Dallas in a contest rescheduled due to the Ravens' COVID issues the past two weeks.

"We opened Ravens -1 and are still there. The Ravens play Tuesday night vs. Dallas, and if they lay another egg in that game, we may see Cleveland move to the favorite," Murray said. "The Browns are very quietly 9-3, and the public will be quick to abandon the Ravens if their offense keeps struggling."
