Washington at Eagles Odds
Opening line
Eagles -1, Over/Under 41.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 8 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Philadelphia opened a 1-point chalk, but Washington is now a 6.5-point favorite as it looks to wrap up the NFC East title and reach the playoffs. But there's two-way action, and in fact, the Eagles are getting 52 percent of tickets and 56 percent of money as kickoff approaches. The total opened at 41, peaked at 44 and is now 43.5, with 58 percent of tickets on the Over and 58 percent of money on the Under. The always-popular prop bet of who scores the first touchdown has Washington running back Antonio Gibson (+550) way ahead in the ticket count, at 33.3 percent, followed by WFT tight end Logan Thomas and wideout Terry McLaurin, both 11/1 and both getting 10.4 percent of bets.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Washington, hoping to win the NFC East in the Sunday night game, has surged to -6.5 at FanDuel, in a game that opened Philadelphia -1.5. The final three points of that huge move came today, as WFT began Sunday at -3.5. Still, Washington isn't getting hammered, by any stretch, taking 55 percent of tickets/62 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 42.5 to 44 to 43.5, with 61 percent of tickets/57 percent of cash on the Over.
UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Several hours before this flexed-in Sunday nighter, Washington has rocketed to -6.5 at William Hill US, up 2.5 points just today and 7.5 points from the opener of Eagles -1. Although Washington is only getting a modest majority of tickets, at 55 percent, WFT is attracting 85 percent of money on the spread. The total bounced from 43 to 41.5 to 44 and back to the opener of 43.5, with 58 percent of tickets on the Over, but 62 percent of money on the Under.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Philadelphia opened 1.5-point favorites at DraftKings, but that didn't last long as the line quickly jumped the fence to Washington -1.5, and it's now out to Washington -4. Quarterback Alex Smith looks like he'll start for WFT, while Philly has a host of players out Sunday. Still, this game is seeing two-way action, with WFT taking 51 percent of tickets and 57 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 42 to 44 to 43.5, with 65 percent of tickets/60 percent of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: William Hill US pegged the Eagles -1 at the opener, but the line flipped to Washington -1.5 in fairly short order Monday and got to WFT -2 earlier today. Early spread ticket count is dead even, but Football Team is nabbing 80 percent of early spread money.
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: This line jumped the fence at The SuperBook, opening Philly -1, quickly hitting -2 and going back to -1 Sunday night, then flipping to Washington -2.5 by Monday afternoon. "The line has flipped to -2.5 WFT because of the situation," SuperBook oddsmaker Cameron Coombs said, alluding to Washington aiming for a playoff spot and having Alex Smith under center, while the Eagles have nothing to play for. "Right now, our liability is on the Eagles, but that could change come game time."
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Eagles opened -1.5 at FanDuel, but this line is now at WFT -1.5, with Alex Smith looking as if he'll be back under center. For certain, Dwayne Haskins won't be playing for Washington, as the team waived the beleagured QB Monday. WFT is taking 54 percent of spread bets and 60 percent of spread tickets. The total moved from 42.5 to 44 to 43.5 by Tuesday evening, with ticket count 2/1 and money approaching 4/1 on the Over.
---
Washington currently leads the NFC East, and Philadelphia is the only outfit in the four-team division that's been eliminated from postseason contention. Washington would have clinched the division with a Week 16 win over Carolina, but lost 20-13. Philly blew its chance to stay in the division chase in a 37-17 road loss to Dallas.
"Washington is a pretty easy team to get a handle on right now. If Dwayne Haskins is starting at QB, they are not an NFL offense and I don't see how they can win an NFL game," Murray said Sunday night. "If they somehow get Alex Smith back for this game, I'd expect them to move to the favorites and have a real shot at winning their first division title since 2015."
The line bounced around a bit in the first hour it was up Sunday night, from Eagles -1 to -2 and back to -1. This matchup got flexed into the Week 17 Sunday night game, with an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.
Jaguars at Colts Odds
Opening line
Colts -13.5, Over/Under 49.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Indy made the move beyond 14 finally, with FanDuel now up to -15.5 and the Colts taking 65 percent of tickets/66 percent of money on the spread. The total is down to 48.5, from an opener of 49.5 and a high point of 50, with 60 percent of bets/62 percent of dollars on the Under.
UPDATE 12:20 P.M. ET SUNDAY: William Hill US is up to Indy -15 from a -14 opener, with 76 percent of bets/72 percent of money on the Colts. The total moved from 49 to 50 early, but it's now 48, with ticket count almost dead even and money 2/1 on the Over.
UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Indianapolis moved from -13.5 to -14 by Monday and stuck there all week at FanDuel, where 70 percent of spread tickets and 67 percent of spread dollars are on the Colts. The total moved from 49.5 to 50, then down to 48.5, with 61 percent of tickets/66 percent of money on the Under.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: This number bounced around throughout the week at DraftKings, opening Indy -13.5, rising to -15, dropping back to the opener and now sitting at -14.5. Point-spread ticket count is 4/1 and money 5/1 on the Colts. The total opened 49.5, moved to 49, then up to 50 and is now 49.5 again, with the Under getting 63 percent of bets/54 percent of dollars.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Indianapolis hasn't budged off -14 at William Hill US, where the Colts are taking 76 percent of spread tickets and 72 percent of spread money.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Colts moved from -13.5 to -15, then down to -14 at DraftKings, where Indy is taking 85 percent of tickets and 92 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 49. to 49 and back, with 65 percent of bets/55 percent of money on the Over.
---
Indianapolis is on the outside looking in after blowing a 24-7 third-quarter lead in a 28-24 loss at Pittsburgh. Seven teams make the AFC playoffs, and the Colts are currently eighth. Meanwhile, Jacksonville won the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes with a 41-17 home loss to Chicago.
The SuperBook opened the Colts -13.5 and stuck there through Sunday night.
Packers at Bears Odds
Opening line
Bears +4.5, Over/Under 50
Why the line moved
UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Packers are at FanDuel's opener of -4.5, after opening -6 and going as low as -3.5. Despite the overall move down, ticket count and money are both running 4/1 on Green Bay. The total moved from 50 to 52, then down to 48.5, with tickets just shy of 3/1 and money just more than 3/1 on the Over.
UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Green Bay opened -4 at William Hill US, peaked at -5.5, receded to -4 and is now -4.5, with tickets and money both running 3/1 on the Packers. The total moved from 50.5 to 51.5, then made its way down to 49 by this morning, with 71 percent of tickets/70 percent of cash on the Over.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: DraftKings pegged Green Bay 3.5-point chalk at the opener, got to -5.5 a couple of times during the week, then dialed down to -4. The Packers are taking 75 percent of tickets and 78 percent of money on the spread. The total opened at 50, bottomed out at 49.5, peaked at 52 and is now 50.5, with the Over drawing 70 percent of tickets/77 percent of cash.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Green Bay went from -4 to -6 at William Hill US, then inched back to -5.5 Monday, where the line is now. The Packers are taking 71 percent of tickets and 84 percent of money on the spread.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: DraftKings started the Packers at -3.5 and got to -5.5 by Monday afternoon, and the line is currently -5, with Green Bay attracting 75 percent of spread bets and 86 percent of spread money. The total is up to 52 from a 50 opener, with 74 percent of bets/87 percent of money on the Over.
---
This may well be the Game of the Week, with Green Bay going for the NFC's No. 1 seed and Chicago controlling its own destiny for a wild-card slot. The Packers tuned up by trucking a good Tennessee team 40-14 at Lambeau in the Sunday nighter, and Chicago breezed by host Jacksonville 41-17.
"We opened the Packers -4.5 and closed the betting when Sunday Night Football kicked off," Murray said, noting The SuperBook's standing operating procedure, with this game set to go back up Monday morning. "The Bears control their own destiny here and have been playing well, but I'd expect a lot of public support for the Packers if they keep rolling the way they did tonight against Tennessee."
Cowboys at Giants Odds
Opening line
Pick, Over/Under 47
Why the line moved
UPDATE 12:20 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Cowboys went from -2.5 to -3 early in the week, but they've been at -1.5 since Wednesday, despite a 4/1 ticket count and 5/1 money on Dallas. The total is down to 43.5 from a 45.5 opener, with tickets 2/1 on the Over, but money 3/1 on the Under.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Dallas opened a 1.5-point favorite at DraftKings, moved out to -3 early in the week, fell back to -1 Friday and is now -1.5. Ticket count is 4/1 and money beyond 3/1 on the Cowboys. The total fell from 47.5 to 44.5, with 69 percent of tickets on the Over and 59 percent of money on the Under.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: William Hill US opened Dallas -2.5 Monday morning and quickly got to -3, but the line has since receded to -1.5. That's despite the Cowboys attracting 81 percent of bets and 86 percent of money on the spread.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Cowboys are out to -3 from a -1.5 opener at DraftKings, thanks to 76 percent of tickets and 86 percent of money landing on Dallas. The total dropped from 47.5 to 44.5, with 76 percent of tickets but just 57 percent of money on the Over.
---
Dallas is 6-9 and New York is 5-10, which in the NFC East means both are in contention for the division title and a playoff spot in this regular-season finale. The Cowboys kept their hopes alive by beating Philadelphia 37-17 in Week 16, and the Giants made things tougher by losing 27-13 at Baltimore.
"We opened this game pick and took money right away on Dallas, which moved us to Cowboys -2," Murray said. "The Cowboys have been playing well the last couple of weeks, and the public will likely be all over them as a cheap favorite with a chance to win the division."
Later Sunday night, Dallas ticked up to -2.5 at The SuperBook.
Steelers at Browns Odds
Opening line
Browns -7.5, Over/Under 42.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 12:20 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Cleveland is out to -10 at William Hill US, up three points from the opener, but tickets and money are running 2/1 on Pittsburgh. The total is at its peak of 45.5, after opening 42.5, with tickets and money in the 2/1 range on the Over.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With the Steelers resting QB Ben Roethlisberger among others this week, the Browns opened -7 and darted to -10 by Tuesday, and Cleveland is now -9.5. Perhaps surprisingly, though, Pittsburgh is still taking 73 percent of tickets and 71 percent of money on the spread. The total opened at 42.5, peaked early at 43.5 and is now 41.5, with 74 percent of bets/61 percent of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Browns opened -7 at William Hill US and got to -10 Tuesday in the wake of news that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger would rest this week. Cleveland dialed back to -9 by this morning, with Pittsburgh and backup QB Mason Rudolph landing 66 percent of point-spread bets and 55 percent of spread cash.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: On Tuesday, the Steelers announced that QB Ben Roethlisberger would sit out this week to prep for the playoffs. That sent the line at DraftKings from Browns -7.5 straight to -9.5, and it's now Browns -10, but the point-spread betting splits don't reflect that: ticket count is 3/1 and money 2/1 on Pittsburgh, which will have Mason Rudolph under center.
---
This line looks out of whack, but Pittsburgh clinched the AFC North by erasing a 24-7 third-quarter deficit to beat Indianapolis 28-24, so the Steelers have little for which to play. On the flip side, COVID-hindered Cleveland tumbled to the suddenly plucky New York Jets 23-16, and the Browns have a lot more to play for in Week 17, needing a win to assure a playoff spot.
"This will be all Browns money," Murray said Sunday night. "The Steelers clinched the AFC North today with a win over the Colts, and we think they're likely to rest players next weekend. They had a brutal schedule with a lot of games bunched closely together due to COVID-19, and they probably need a week off more than any other playoff-bound team."
Titans at Texans Odds
Opening line
Titans -6, Over/Under 56
Why the line moved
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Titans dipped from FanDuel's -7.5 opener to -7 Saturday, but they're attracting 78 percent of tickets and money. The total moved from 56 to 55.5, then dropped to 54.5 and is now 55.5, with 59 percent of tickets/65 percent of dollars on the Over.
UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Tennessee was at -7.5 all week at William Hill US, then ticked to -7 this morning, even though tickets and money are both beyond 3/1 on the Titans. The total toggled around from 56 to 56.5 to 54.5 and is now 55, with the Over taking 53 percent of tickets/59 percent of money.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET SATURDAY: This line hasn't budged off Titans -7.5 at DraftKings, where 70 percent of point-spread tickets and 65 percent of spread dollars are on Tennessee. The total opened at 56, went to 55.5, then bounced between 56 and 56.5 numerous times. It's now 56, with a two-way ticket count leaning toward the Over (53 percent), but the Over is getting 75 percent of money.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: William Hill US hasn't so much as moved the juice on its opener of Titans -7.5, but a move up just might be on the way. Early tickets and money are both in the 5/1 range in favor of Tennessee.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: DraftKings opened the Titans -7.5 and has stuck there so far, with tickets and money just shy of 4/1 on Tennessee. The total initially dipped from 56 to 55.5, but has spent the past week and a half bouncing between 56 and 56.5, currently sitting at 56.5. Fifty-seven percent of tickets are on the Under, and 73 percent of money is on the Over.
---
Tennessee tumbled to Green Bay 40-14 in the Week 16 Sunday nighter, so the Titans need a Week 17 win to be certain of an AFC playoff spot. Houston, playing out the string, lost to visiting Cincinnati 37-31 Sunday.
The Titans were on the move quickly Sunday night, opening -6 at The SuperBook and moving straight to -7 five minutes later. The line came off the board once the Titans-Packers game started, and it will go back up Monday morning.
Saints at Panthers Odds
Opening line
Panthers +4.5, Over/Under 51
Why the line moved
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Perhaps surprisingly, this game is key behind the counter at The SuperBook at Westgate. The Saints opened -4.5, reached -6.5 and are now -5.5. "We are going to need the Panthers pretty big," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "It's the biggest decision of the later kicks and one of the biggest decisions of the day."
UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Saints moved from -6 to -6.5 to -5.5, then back to -6 Saturday, and New Orleans is landing 80 percent of tickets/72 percent of cash on the spread. The total dipped from 51 to 46.5 and is now 47, with tickets 2/1 on the Over, but money 4/1 on the Under.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET SATURDAY: DraftKings opened New Orleans a 5-point favorite and reached -7 by Tuesday, but the number is now down to -5, even with tickets and money beyond 4/1 on the Saints. The drop is largely due to Saints running back Alvin Kamara missing Sunday's game after testing positive for COVID. And due to being close contacts, several Saints running backs could be out this week. The total is down to 46.5 from a 50.5 opener, with 74 perent of tickets on the Over, but 86 percent of money on the Under.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: New Orleans moved from -6 to -6.5 in just more than hour Monday at William Hill US, and the number is still -6.5, even though early action is overwhelmingly on the road favorite. The Saints are taking 89 percent of spread bets and 97 percent of spread dollars.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: New Orleans moved from -5 to -7 at DraftKings, then ticked back to -6.5, with 90 percent of bets and 95 percent of cash on the Saints. The total is down to 47.5 from a 50.5 opener, and the betting splits are intriguing: 78 percent of tickets are on the Over, but 95 percent of money is on the Under.
---
New Orleans hung a 50-burger on Minnesota in a 52-33 Christmas Day home win, clinching the NFC South, but the Saints still have a shot at the NFC's top seed. Carolina, which topped Washington 20-13 on the road, is playing for pride.
The SuperBook opened the Saints -4.5, and the first move came just a few minutes later Sunday night, with New Orleans dipping to -4.
Jets at Patriots Odds
Opening line
Patriots -5.5, Over/Under 43
Why the line moved
UPDATE 12:20 P.M. ET SUNDAY: William Hill US opened the Patriots -5 and is down to -3, with the Jets taking 51 percent of tickets and 62 percent of money on the spread. The total opened at 43 and dropped to 39.5, then rebounded to 40.5, with tickets 2/1 on the Over, but money 4/1 on the Under.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET SATURDAY: New England is down to -3 from a -5 opener at DraftKings, where the Patriots are taking 55 percent of spread tickets and money. The total fell from 43 to 39.5 and is now 40, with tickets just shy of 2/1 on the Over, but money 3/1 on the Under.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Patriots opened -5 Monday morning and dipped to -3.5 even before their poor Monday night effort at home against the Bills. The line nudged to New England -3 on Tuesday morning, and New York is getting 56 percent of tickets/83 percent of cash on the spread.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: New England dropped from -5 to -3 at DraftKings, where 56 percent of bets are on the Jets and 61 percent of cash is on the Patriots. This total is yet another declining one in Week 17, down three points to 40, with 58 percent of bets on the Over, but 92 percent of dollars on the Under.
---
New York lost its first 13 games this year, yet now has a two-game win streak after stunning the Rams in Week 15 then upending the Browns 20-13 in Week 16. New England, out of the playoffs for the first time since 2008, still has Week 16 work to do, hosting Buffalo in the Monday nighter.
The first move on the Jets-Patriots line was toward suddenly surging New York, as The SuperBook opened New England -5.5 and ticked to -5 about an hour later.
Vikings at Lions Odds
Opening line
Lions +6, Over/Under 54.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 12:20 P.M. ET SUNDAY: This line was a big late mover at William Hill US, dropping from Minnesota -6.5 Saturday afternoon to -3 with kickoff looming. Minnesota is attracting 81 percent of spread bets, but just 51 percent of spread money.
UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Vikings moved from -6.5 to -7 early, but are now down to -4 at FanDuel, some of that certainly due to Lions QB Matthew Stafford expected to play today. Still, ticket count is running 4/1 and money 3/1 on Minnesota. The total is down a point to 53.5, with tickets and money 2/1 on the Under.
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Minnesota was a 7-point favorite to open the week at DraftKings and dropped to -6.5 Wednesday after the news that running back Dalvin Cook would not play, due to the death of his father. The line dropped two points today to -4.5, with part of that likely due to Lions QB Matthew Stafford (ankle) expected to play Sunday. Ticket count is still in the 4/1 range on the road favorite Vikings. The total bounced between 54.5 and 54 numerous times this week, touched 53.5 a couple of times and is now 54, with the Under taking 71 percent of bets/65 percent of money.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Vikings are up a tick from -6.5 to -7 at William Hill US, as the Lions hope QB Matthew Stafford (ankle) will be good to go Sunday. Early point-spread action is all Minnesota, at 80 percent of tickets and 91 percent of cash.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Minnesota inched from -7 to -6.5 earlier today at DraftKings, even though tickets and money are running about 4/1 on the Vikings. The total toggled between 54.5 and 54 numerous times the past couple of days and is currently 54, with 62 percent of tickets/67 percent of money on the Under.
---
Two teams soon to be making offseason plans get together in this regular-season finale. Minnesota enters off a 52-33 Christmas Day loss at New Orleans, while Detroit got trucked by Tampa Bay 47-7. The Vikings opened -6 at The SuperBook, where there was no line movement Sunday night.
Falcons at Buccaneers Odds
Opening line
Buccaneers -4.5, Over/Under 50.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 10:45 A.M. ET SUNDAY: PointsBet USA opened Tampa Bay a 6-point favorite and is up to -7, with 73 percent of spread bets and 65 percent of spread money on the Buccaneers. The total opened at 50.5 and is now 50. "Good two-way action here, with 77 percent of bets on the Over, while 67 percent of the handle is on the Under."
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: The Bucs moved from -6 to -5.5, then up to -7 and are now -6.5 at DraftKings, where bettors are hammering Tampa Bay with 85 percent of spread bets and 92 percent of spread money. The total toggled between 50 and 50.5 countless times and is now 50.5, with 70 percent of bets/80 percent of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Tampa Bay is up a point at William Hill US, from -6 to -7, and the Bucs are drawing 82 percent of tickets/87 percent of money on the spread.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Bucs moved from -6 to -5.5 to -6.5 by Monday morning, and they're still -6.5 tonight at DraftKings, with 75 percent of tickets and 89 percent of money on Tampa Bay. The total opened at 50, went to 50.5 several times and is now 50, with tickets running about 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Over.
---
Tampa Bay boat raced host Detroit 47-7 in a Week 16 Saturday tilt to clinch a playoff spot. Atlanta gave defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City all it could handle, but allowed a late touchdown in a 17-14 road loss Sunday.
The Bucs opened -4.5 and moved to -5.5 Sunday night at The SuperBook.
Ravens at Bengals Odds
Opening line
Bengals +10, Over/Under 44.5

UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Baltimore is up to -13 from a -11.5 opener at DraftKings, where the Ravens are attracting 70 percent of tickets and 75 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 44.5 to 45 and back, although the Over is taking 82 percent of tickets/88 percent of dollars.
---
Like the Jets, the Bengals are on a late-season surge, winning two in a row. After a big home upset of Pittsburgh, Cincinnati went on the road in Week 16 and beat Houston 37-31. The Ravens topped the Giants 27-13 and are currently in the AFC playoffs, with a Week 17 win guaranteeing that slot.
The SuperBook opened the Ravens -10 and jumped straight to -11 within a few minutes Sunday night.
Dolphins at Bills Odds
Opening line
Bills -4, Over/Under 44.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 12:20 P.M. ET SUNDAY: This is a huge late mover at William Hill US. The Bills were -1.5 first thing this morning, and the line has since jumped the fence all the way to Dolphins -3.5. That's despite tickets still running 4/1 and money 5/1 on Buffalo. The total opened 47.5, tumbled to 42 and is now 42.5, with 78 percent of bets on the Over and 78 percent of money on the Under.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Buffalo has been up and down this week at DraftKings, opening 4.5-point chalk, dropping to -1.5 by Tuesday, rebounding to -3.5 and now sitting at -2.5. The Bills are attracting 76 percent of spread tickets, but the Dolphins are getting 56 percent of spread money. The total tumbled from 47.5 to 42.5, with snow and/or freezing rain in the forecast, but the Over is grabbing 84 percent of tickets and 61 percent of money.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: This line bounced around a bit at William Hill US, from an opener of Bills -4.5 down to -1 by Tuesday, then up to -3 by Thursday afternoon. That increase was aided by Thursday's news that Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick tested positive for COVID and won't play this week, so Tua Tagovailoa has no bailout option. Buffalo is taking 74 percent of spread bets and 54 percent of spread money.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Buffalo coach Sean McDermott hasn't indicated if he'll rest key players this week, but oddsmakers and bettors seem to think he will. The Bills opened -4.5 at DraftKings and are down to -1.5 tonight, and the total is also down three points, from 47.5 to 44.5. Betting splits aren't yet available.
---
Buffalo already has the AFC East wrapped up, but still has a shot at the AFC's No. 2 seed, though that's not as valuable as it used to be, since only the top seed gets a bye. The Bills have Week 16 work to do, playing at New England in the Monday nighter, while Miami is coming off a wild, final-seconds 26-25 victory at Las Vegas.
"We opened the Bills -4 and closed the betting when the Sunday night game kicked off," Murray said, noting the game will go back up Monday morning. "The Titans' (loss) could impact how much Buffalo cares about this game. This could potentially be one of the few games next week that has playoff implications for both teams. It should be a high-volume game."
Chargers at Chiefs Odds

The total is down a point to 43, but 76 percent of tickets/78 percent of dollars are on the Over.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With Kansas City resting severaly key players, including QB Patrick Mahomes, Los Angeles opened -3.5 and stuck there all week at DraftKings. The Chiefs are landing 56 percent of spread bets, while the Chargers are taking 55 percent of spread money. The total moved from 44 to 43.5 to 44.5 and is now 44, with 86 percent of tickets/78 percent of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: William Hill US hasn't budged off Chargers -3.5, and even though the Chiefs are resting Patrick Mahomes and likely many others, Kansas City is still landing 59 percent of spread tickets. Los Angeles is taking 54 percent of spread money.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Chargers are stuck on the opener of -3.5 at DraftKings, even though the Chiefs confirmed Wednesday that QB Patrick Mahomes will not play Sunday. In fact, Kansas City is still grabbing 64 percent of bets and 58 percent of cash on the spread. The total moved from 44 to 43.5 and back, with 89 percent of bets/86 percent of dollars on the Over.
---
Kansas City needed a late-fourth-quarter touchdown to fend off visiting Atlanta 17-14 Sunday, wrapping up the AFC's top seed and making Week 17 meaningless. Los Angeles beat Denver 19-16 on a last-minute field goal.
With K.C. having nothing to play for, The SuperBook opened at Chargers -2.5, and there was no line movement through Sunday night.
Seahawks at 49ers Odds
Opening line
Seahawks -4, Over/Under 47.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: FanDuel is up to Seattle -7, after opening -4.5, with the Seahawks taking 69 percent of tickets and 64 percent of money. The total is down to 45.5 from 47.5, with 52 percent of tickets on the Over and 56 percent of money on the Under.
UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Seahawks are up to -7 from a -4 opener at William Hill US, where 72 percent of spread bets/83 percent of spread dollars are on Seattle. The total fell from 47 to 45, with 57 percent of tickets on the Over and 79 percent of money on the Under.
UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The SuperBook opened Seattle -4 and initially dipped to -3, but the Seahawks got to -6.5 Thursday and stuck there. "Seattle-San Fran is a great two-way game, both money and bet count as of now," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said. "If the price hovers in this 6.5/7 range up to kick, I would expect more of the same, unless a big house bet comes in."
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Seattle is out to -6.5 from a -4.5 opener at DraftKings, where 72 percent of tickets and 79 percent of dollars are on the Seahawks. The total dipped from 47.5 to 46, with tickets just shy of 2/1 on the Over, but money slightly above 2/1 on the Under.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Seahawks stretched to -6.5 earlier today, from an opener of -4 at William Hill US. Point-spread ticket count is 3/1 and money 4/1 on Seattle.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Seattle is out to -6 from a -4.5 opener at DraftKings, where the Seahawks are getting 84 percent of tickets and cash. The total fell from 47.5 to 46, with 81 percent of tickets on the Over, but two-way money, with 53 percent on the Under.

Seattle wrapped up the NFC West with Sunday's 20-9 home victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Defending NFC champ San Francisco, nearing the end of an injury-wracked season, knocked off host Arizona 20-12.
The SuperBook opened the Seahawks -4 and ticked to -3.5 within a few minutes Sunday night.
Raiders at Broncos Odds
Opening line
Broncos -1, Over/Under 51
Why the line moved
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: This game flipped from Denver -2.5 to Las Vegas -2.5, and the Raiders are getting 77 percent of bets/69 percent of money. The total toggled a couple of times between 51 and 50.5, and it's currently 50.5, with 63 percent of bets/67 percent of dollars on the Over.
UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Denver opened -1 and quickly went to -1.5 at The SuperBook, but the line quickly turned toward Las Vegas from there and is now Raiders -2.5. "The Raiders are a fairly public side, and the Broncos aren't attracting much interest at all," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said. "We opened Denver a small favorite last Sunday, and that seems to have been a mistake, according to how the markets reacted."
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: DraftKings pegged Denver a 1.5-point favorite at the opener, but the line quickly flipped and got to Las Vegas -2.5 Monday morning. The number receded to -1.5 a few times, then made its way to Raiders -3 by Friday, with Las Vegas landing 86 percent of tickets and 91 percent of money on the spread. The total opened 50.5, peaked at 51.5, bottomed out at 50 and is now 51, with ticket count 3/1 on the Under and money 2/1 on the Over.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The line opened Broncos -1 Monday at William Hill US and within 90 minutes had flipped to Raiders -2.5, where the line stuck through tonight. Las Vegas is attracting 72 percent of spread tickets and 84 percent of spread bets.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: This line quickly jumped the fence from Denver -1.5 to Las Vegas -2.5, and the Raiders are currently -2 while landing 85 percent of bets and 91 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 50.5 to 51.5 to 50 and is now 51, with ticket count 4/1 on the Under and money 4/1 on the Over.
---
Las Vegas' slim playoff hopes evaporated in a wild finish in Sin City on Saturday night, as the Raiders lost to Miami 26-25. Denver fell 19-16 at the Chargers on Sunday and is also just playing for pride in Week 17. The Broncos opened -1 and moved to -1.5 Sunday night at The SuperBook.
Cardinals at Rams Odds
Opening line
Rams -5, Over/Under 40.5
Why the line moved
UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: BetMGM Nevada's Jeff Stoneback said sharp Los Angeles money this morning took this line from Arizona -3 to -1.5. "Ticket count is equal, but money is 7/1 on the Rams. We actually need the Cardinals," Stoneback said.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: DraftKings posted this game Monday night, after L.A. quarterback Jared Goff (thumb) was already ruled out, but before there was clarity on Cardinals QB Kyler Murray's status. Los Angeles opened -2.5 and quickly dipped to -1.5. On Wednesday, when it became apparent that Murray would play, the line jumped the fence and went as far as Cardinals -3.5, then dialed back to Cards -2.5. Ticket count is about 3/1 and money just short of 5/1 on Arizona. The total has been nailed to 40.5 all week, even with 79 percent of tickets/72 percent of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: William Hill US waited until Wednesday to post this game, wanting some clarity on the quarterback situation for both teams. Rams QB Jared Goff (thumb) is out, while Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (lower-leg injury) is likely in. Arizona opened -3 and hasn't moved, and betting splits aren't yet available.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The SuperBook put this game back on the board today, on news that Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is likely to play. The Rams not only won't have QB Jared Goff (thumb), but could be down wideout Cooper Kupp, who is on the reserve/COVID list. The game reopened at Arizona -1.5 and quickly moved to Arizona -2.5. The total was posted at the same time, at 40.5, and ticked up to 41.
UPDATE 10:45 P.M. ET MONDAY: Rams QB Jared Goff underwent thumb surgery earlier today, so this game remains off the board at The SuperBook not only for that reason, but because Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is dinged up, too. Murray has a lower-leg injury, and his status for this key Week 17 contest is uncertain. Los Angeles opened a 5-point home favorite Sunday afternoon, but the number came off the board Sunday night due to the Goff injury.
---
Arizona was a 6-point home favorite against a San Francisco squad using its third-string QB, yet the Cardinals lost 20-12 Saturday and are on the outside looking in for an NFC playoff spot. Los Angeles is in the postseason for the moment, but Sunday's 20-9 loss at Seattle has the Rams needing a win to guarantee a playoff berth.
"We opened Rams -5," Murray said. "The Rams are off two bad performances in a row and now get a Cardinals team that could be fighting for its playoff life. This should be a high-volume game."
The SuperBook took the game off the board Sunday night while awaiting clarity on Jared Goff's status, after the Rams QB suffered a thumb injury in the loss to the Seahawks.
