Welcome back, NFL! And perhaps more importantly, welcome back NFL odds!

Week 1 is almost entirely in the books, but we've got Aaron Rodgers' return for the New York Jets against the San Francisco 49ers still on tap for Monday Night Football.

Lines for that game and all Week 1 matchups are moving daily, so I break down the latest news and notes for the NFL Week 1 odds.

NFL Week 1 Odds

Below are the live NFL odds for Week 1, available from regulated sportsbooks in your location.

NFL Week 1 odds analysis

Titans vs. Bears odds

Opening line

Caleb Williams had a good showing in the preseason. Chicago was as big as -4.5 earlier in the week but is now down as low as -3.5 on Sunday morning, with other books holding on to Bears -4. This total dropping from 43.5 to 43 before taking a massive midweek jump to 45. It has since re-adjusted and sits at 44.5 as of Sunday morning.

Weather

Texans vs. Colts odds

Opening line

This AFC South matchup, between two of the most exciting young QBs in football, saw the total remain at 48 all summer before jumping up a half-point last week. With the Texans picking up steam on the spread, the line now sits at either Houston -3 or -2.5, with the total bumping up to as high as 49 O/U and juice varying noticeably book-to-book (as always, shop around).

Weather

Cardinals vs. Bills odds

Opening line

This line bounced between -6 and -6.5 most of the summer and has jumped back to Bills -6.5 after going to -5 last week. As of Sunday morning there are Buffalo -7 lines popping up at select books. Meanwhile, the total continues to fall, from 48.5, down to 46.5 across the industry. The Sunday forecast calls for wind gusts as strong as 37 mph in Orchard Park.

Weather

Patriots vs. Bengals odds

Opening line

Joe Burrow & Co. gained a point on the spread against the woeful Patriots over the summer and were as high as -9.5 before injury and availability concerns knocked a couple points off this spread. With WRs Tee Higgins (doubtful) and Ja'Marr Chase (questionable) possibly sitting out, we're see Bengals -7 to -8 on Sunday morning. The total dipped to 42 last weekend, moved to 40.5 on Sunday, and sits at 41 points this morning.

Steelers vs. Falcons odds

Opening line

The Steelers opened as 2.5-point road underdogs and were bouncing between -3 and -3.5 when they announced Russell Wilson as the Week 1 starting QB. But with Wilson sidelined with a calf injury, Pittsburgh goes with Justin Fields and the betting markets are as high as -4 on Atlanta. The total is currently sitting at 42 points O/U.

Weather

Panthers vs. Saints odds

Opening line

Offense is not on the menu for this game, with the total opening at 41 and now hovering around 41.5. The initial spread movement went to Saints -5, but is down to -3.5 at most books on Sunday morning.

Weather

Jaguars vs. Dolphins odds

Opening line

Some slight movement as well here from the opening number, with the Dolphins ticking down to 3.5-point favorites, while the O/U moved up to an even 50 before dropping back to 49.

Weather

Vikings vs. Giants odds

Opening line

This spread opened with the Giants as slight favorites, but has since flipped to Vikings laying 1.5 points, with DraftKings trading at -2 as of Saturday morning but settling in at -1.5 at most shops on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, the total has fluttered between 41 and 41.5.

Raiders vs. Chargers odds

Opening line

Concerns around Chargers QB Justin Herbert's plantar fasciitis haven't swayed bettors off the Bolts, as they have moved from -2.5 to -3.5 during the preseason, with that spread finding an industry consensus of -3 on Sunday. The total is another story, however, with the Over/Under going from 44 to 42.5 during the preseason before dropping further to 40, with most books seeing buyback and moving to 40.5.

Weather

Broncos vs. Seahawks odds

Opening line

There has been plenty of sharp support for the Seahawks this summer, driving this spread from Seattle -4.5 to -6 throughout the offseason. With the Broncos going with a rookie QB in Week 1, the total was knocked down from 42.5 to 41.5 O/U.

Weather

Cowboys vs. Browns odds

Opening line

Some books opened this as a PK (or even the Cowboys favored), but the number has since shifted in Cleveland's favor, with the Browns now at -2.5. Dallas superstar WR CeeDee Lamb finally signed an extension, putting him on track to play in Week 1, but it did not move the spread... although the total has continually dropped, settling in at 41 as of Sunday morning.

Weather

Commanders vs. Buccaneers odds

Opening line

The spread has bounced between -3 and -3.5 this offseason, and we're seeing some Bucs -4 on Sunday morning. The total moved to 41.5 over the summer but has since bounced back up with most books dealing 42.5 O/U. Heat and potential thunderstorms could impact play at Raymond James Stadium.

Weather

Rams vs. Lions odds

Opening line

The first Sunday nighter of the season started with Detroit sitting on the key number of -3 but has since shifted to Lions -4.5 with sharp play on the home side. The total opened at 50.5 — the highest on the board — and is continuing to rise, at 53.5 just hours before kickoff.

Jets vs. 49ers odds

Opening line

The Jets opened as 5.5-point dogs for Aaron Rodgers' debut (take two), with the spread ticking down to +5 over the summer and seeing some strong movement earlier this week to drop to SF -3.5. Since then, the spread has ping-ponged between that number and 49ers -4.5, which is where it sits on Monday morning. The total opened at 46.5 in the summer but dropped to 44 during the preseason and dipped even further to 42.5 by last Tuesday. It has gone back to 43.
