With the playoffs on the horizon, the Kansas City Chiefs are running out of time to find their best form, but all they’ll want from this Week 16 odds matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders is a division-clinching win.

The Chiefs are double-digit favorites in the latest NFL odds and all eyes will be on Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce as they try to wrap up an eighth straight AFC West crown.

There are lots of markets to choose from on Monday. I’ve been checking the list of player props (and checking it twice), and these three NFL picks jump off the screen.

Raiders vs Chiefs MNF props

Prop bet #1: Rice is Nice

Amid a so-so year for the Kansas City Chiefs offense, Rashee Rice has looked like the real deal, especially over the past four weeks. Benefitting from the extra attention that Travis Kelce attracts, Rice has stepped up as a trusted target for Patrick Mahomes.

With his ability to find gaps in the secondary, I’m picking Rice to put up another impressive stat line here, even against a Las Vegas Raiders defense that’s just outside the Top 10 in fewest passing yards allowed per game.

The volume should be there, as Rice has had at least nine targets in each of his last four games and finished with nine grabs for 91 yards and a touchdown last weekend against New England.

Better yet, Rice torched Las Vegas in the teams’ meeting in late November, with 10 catches for 107 yards and a score in yet another sign that his emergence could be the jolt that the Chiefs need to chase a Super Bowl repeat.

You can find the Over/Under line for the Rice receiving yards prop around 67.5, and that’s great value for any top pass-catcher in a Mahomes-led offense.

With Rice going past that number in three of his last four contests, I’m grabbing the Over without any hesitation.

Rashee Rice prop: Over 67.5 receiving yards (-110 at bet365)

Prop bet #2: Deep to Davante

This may not be a season that Davante Adams remembers fondly, but he’s on the cusp of another year with over 1,000 receiving yards. After some quiet October outings, Adams has rebounded well over the past five weeks, looking in sync with Aidan O’Connell since he replaced Jimmy Garoppolo.

While the Adams receiving yards prop has some appeal, particularly with double-digit targets in four of his last five games, I feel even better about the odds for his longest reception of the day.

That line is set at 21.5 yards, and Adams has had a catch of at least 24 yards in each of his past five contests, headlined by a 46-yard touchdown against Miami in Week 11.

Adams was limited to 73 yards in the November showdown with the Chiefs but got a big chunk of that on a 33-yard catch. Monday’s game could follow a similar script, and he’s capable of sizeable YAC gains if O’Connell finds him in the open field.

It also helps that the Raiders may be playing from behind against a superior Kansas City team, paving the way for Adams to come up with a few big plays.

Davante Adams prop: Longest reception Over 21.5 yards (-115 at bet365)

Prop bet #3: Paydirt for Pacheco

Welcome back, Isiah Pacheco! The Chiefs are expected to have their lead running back on the field on Christmas Day after a two-game absence, and that represents a major boost for this offense.

Kansas City struggled to get traction in the ground game without Pacheco the past two weeks, and I’m picking him to score a touchdown at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday on his return.

Pacheco was rumbling into peak form just before missing that time. He had 110 rushing yards and a touchdown against Green Bay in Week 13 and found the end zone twice against the Raiders in Week 12.

Though the Raiders were dominant last time out against the Easton Stick-led Chargers and held Nick Mullens and the Vikings to just three points the prior week, I expect Mahomes to have no such problems moving the ball — and that should set up opportunities for Pacheco inside the 5-yard line.

Las Vegas is weaker against the run than the pass, and I see the Kansas City game plan tilting toward Pacheco and their other backfield weapons. The Chiefs have won 11 of the past 12 meetings, and Pacheco’s powerful running feels like the key to padding those numbers.

Isiah Pacheco prop: Anytime touchdown (-120 at SIA)
