The Los Angeles Rams are still reeling from one of the most stunning losses in franchise history—but they remain in prime position to control their own fate in the NFC West race.
The Rams look to complete a season NFL betting sweep of the Seahawks as they visit Seattle on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks come into the game with a one-game edge over Los Angeles following the Rams' defeat at the hands of the previously winless New York Jets but with one victory over Seattle already in their back pocket, another would give the Rams control of the all-important first tiebreaker for the division crown.
We break down the NFL odds with our free Rams vs. Seahawks picks and predictions for Sunday, December 27, with kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Against the Spread (ATS) Pick
Losing outright as a 17-point favorite will do one of two things for the Rams. They'll either come away from the setback as motivated as ever to win the division, or they'll be deflated and struggle. We think the Rams are a talented team on both sides of the ball, though they'll face major challenges this week with starting running back Cam Akers likely to miss his second straight game.
Still, this is the same Los Angeles team that capitalized on three Seattle turnovers to hand the Seahawks a 23-15 defeat back on Nov. 15. The Rams outgained Seattle 389-333, went 9-for-15 on third-down and racked up six sacks on Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. It was one of the Rams' best games of the season—and in a way, that's a bit of a problem.
The Seahawks have been red-hot since that defeat, going 4-1 SU with their own inexplicable loss during that stretch. Seattle rebounded from a 17-12 home loss to the New York Giants by outscoring the Jets and Washington by a 60-18 margin—and with Seattle dominating again on both sides of the ball, and the Rams without their No. 1 rusher, we like the home side to do just enough to cover here.
PREDICTION: Seattle -1 (-110)
Over/Under Pick
Both teams moved the ball relatively well in the first encounter, but still ended up combining for just 39 total points. That has been a trend for the Seahawks, who have seen just one of their previous six games surpass the 45-point plateau.
Combine that with the Rams' incredible run of Unders, and we like this one falling short of the total...possibly by a lot.
PREDICTION: Under 47 (-110)
First Half Pick
The Rams have been a vastly different first-half team depending on where they have played, especially on defense. Los Angeles comes into Sunday's contest having allowed an incredible 16.7 first-half points per game on the road, second only to – wait for it – the Jets.
Seattle, meanwhile, has limited opponents to six total first-half points over their past three games. We like the home team on the 1H line.
PREDICTION: Seattle First Half -0.5 (+105)
