Ravens vs Chargers Predictions, Odds & Picks for Week 12 Monday Night Football

With Baltimore's biggest strength being its offense and the Chargers giving up 450+ yards to the Bengals last week, this Monday Night Football showdown should see a ton of offense.

Week 12 in the NFL wraps up with Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium between the Los Angeles Chargers and Baltimore Ravens. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 with the game airing on ESPN and ABC.

This will be a coaching showdown between brothers Jim and John Harbaugh, and my Ravens vs. Chargers predictions are betting on offensive fireworks. Here are my best NFL picks for this clash between seven-win teams on Monday, November 25.

Ravens vs Chargers MNF predictions

Who will win Ravens vs Chargers?

The Chargers are certainly live underdogs in this spot. After all, they have just as many wins as the Ravens and are playing at home. That said, they've also played a significantly weaker schedule while the Ravens are in a bounce-back spot after a tough loss against the Steelers.

Prediction: When it comes to DVOA, the Ravens are second in the league while the Chargers are ninth, and that has me expecting the visiting Ravens to come away with the W here.

My best bet
Pick: Over 50.5 (-110 at FanDuel)

My analysis
The Los Angeles Chargers are fourth in the league in defensive EPA, but I'm not convinced they're as good as that rating suggests. They've played a slew of terrible quarterbacks and offenses, and just surrendered 452 yards to Joe Burrow & Co. last week.

They'll have a tough time containing MVP candidate Lamar Jackson and a Baltimore Ravens offense that leads the league in EPA/play and success rate while ranking second in scoring with 30.4 points per game.

That said, Baltimore's defense has looked vulnerable — especially against the pass. The Ravens are 28th in the league in defensive dropback EPA and 26th in yards allowed per pass attempt (7.2). They could get lit up by an L.A. offense that has opened up its playbook and has dropped 26+ points in four straight games.

Since their bye in Week 5, the Bolts have been throwing the ball more, and Justin Herbert is seventh among QBs in adjusted EPA. The Ravens have been better against the run, but could take a massive step back in that area with All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith and nose tackle Travis Jones questionable for Monday.

The Chargers are also dealing with several key injuries on defense. Edge rushers Khalil Mack Jr. and Bud Dupree, and cornerback Cam Hart are questionable while inside linebacker Denzel Perryman has been ruled out.

Ravens vs Chargers MNF same-game parlay

Over 50.5

Ravens -2.5

Justin Herbert Over 258.5 passing yards

This line has been bouncing between Baltimore -3 and -2.5 all week. As long as you can get the Ravens at less than a field goal, I like them on the spread. Both of these teams have seven wins, but the Chargers have played the weakest schedule in the NFL, according to ESPN, while Baltimore is 13th.

Herbert has thrown for more than 275 yards in four of his last five games, while the Ravens give up a league-high 284.5 passing yards per game.
