Titans vs Dolphins MNF Prop Bets: Pollard Boosts Titans Run Game

There's not much to like about the QB matchup in this one with Tyler Huntley squaring off against Will Levis, but one man's trash is another man's treasure and Sam Farley believes there's some to be found in the rushing markets.

We’re getting served up the Tennessee Titans vs Miami Dolphins this week as part of our double act on Monday Night Football and it’s a game that should give us plenty of action.

With both teams getting less than stellar QB play, my Titans vs. Dolphins predictions have the run game front and center.

Titans vs Dolphins MNF props

Prop bet #1: Tony Pollard Over 51.5 rushing Yards

-110 at FanDuel

Coming into this season it looked like the Tennessee Titans’ backfield would be running back by committee but in reality, it’s not been like that at all. Through three games we’ve seen Tony Pollard with 39 carries compared to Tyjae Spears’ 12, with only their work in the passing game being anywhere near RBBC.

Pollard only has one touchdown on the season but he’s clearly the main back in this backfield, getting 75% of carries last week. The Dolphins aren’t bad against the run but not elite either, averaging 112 rushing yards allowed per game. If Pollard continues to get the carries, he will cover a fairly low total here. In the past three weeks we’ve seen Zach Charbonnet get 91 yards, James Cook get 78 and even Tank Bigsby get 73 for the Jaguars.

Prop bet #2: Tyler Huntley Over 30.5 rushing yards

-113 at FanDuel

Tyler Huntley has got the start this Monday as the Miami Dolphins look to navigate this period without Tua Tagovailoa. The former Raven was a reasonable backup to Lamar Jackson in Baltimore and was at his best when he let his legs, not his arm do the talking. He’s covered 30.5 rushing yards 10 times during his career, which isn’t bad given that he’s largely been used from the sideline, with the occasional start.

Mike McDaniels will have spent the past week designing plenty of ways to let Huntley show off his speed, and with the likes of De’Von Achane and Tyreek Hill lining up alongside him on the offense, there’ll be plenty of ways they can get Huntley into space.

Prop bet #3: De'Von Achane anytime touchdown

-110 at FanDuel

There’s a chance that Raheem Mostert might be returning for the Dolphins but don’t let that concern you, De’Von Achane is the lead back on this team now and despite his size, he’s still the man that the Dolphins trust in the red zone.

Achane has found paydirt twice this year and he's being used in a multitude of ways inside the red zone. He's the only RB to have a carry inside the 20, and he's been targeted four times in the pass game.

With Huntley under center, the game plan should be to feed Achane as often as possible, giving us a great opportunity to cash this ATD ticket.
