There’s only four weeks of NFL regular season action left. Week 15 is the last normal week of the regular season as we’ll have some Saturday and Wednesday games in the mix the next two weeks, while MNF and TNF will disappear altogether in Week 18.
Not a lot stood out in Week 14 in regard to overall betting results, but underdogs did manage to go 8-5 ATS, which now has them hitting at 55.2% over the last month. Favorites are still ahead for the season-long NFL betting trends, however, hitting at a 51.5% clip.
If this week’s spreads are any indication, Week 15 could be a very competitive one. Eleven of the 16 games have spreads of -5 or shorter, with seven of those games having a spread of -3 or less. We probably shouldn’t expect many shootouts either as 10 of the games have totals of 45 or lower.
If you need some help with your handicapping this week, use the trends below to help you get started making NFL picks. Best of luck out there, and see you for Week 16!
Best NFL Week 15 betting trends
Rams vs 49ers
The trend: The Rams are 13-2 ATS in their last 15 games played in the month of December
Going right back to the well on this one after it’s hit twice already this December. Sean McVay is a proven closer and his team is also on a solid 6-1 ATS stretch in Thursday Night Football games, while also going 9-2 ATS in their last 11 divisional matchups.
The 49ers, meanwhile, are 0-5 ATS in games after a win this season. The Rams are a 3-point underdog in this matchup.

Bengals vs Titans
The trend: The Titans are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games
Usually it’s not as simple as simply betting against a bad team on the spread, but this is 100% the case in Titans’ games this season. They’ve managed to win three games, but have only covered the spread twice all season.
Another trend for this game is that the Bengals have gone 6-1 ATS on the road this season, which is a far cry from their 1-5 ATS record at home. Cincinnati is favored by five.

Chiefs vs Browns
The trend: The Chiefs are 0-7 ATS in their last seven games
The Chiefs are the kings of winning, but not covering. It’s a bit wild that they’ve gone 12-1 SU on the season but just 4-8-1 ATS.
Digging a bit deeper, they’ve won 10 straight games going back to last season when favored by four or more, but went just 2-7-1 ATS in these games. They’re favored by four points in this one.

Ravens vs Giants
The trend: Since the 2020 season, the Ravens are an NFL-best 19-8-1 ATS in games after a loss
This situation is in play for Baltimore after they lost last time out to the Eagles. The Ravens are also coming off their bye and should be able to smack around a Giants team that averages a pathetic 10.1 points per game at home.
If you like Baltimore, you’ll need to pay a hefty price to back them as they’re one of the biggest favorites of the season at 16 points.

Cowboys vs Panthers
The trend: The Panthers are 3-14 SU & ATS in their last 17 games as a favorite
This is the first time in almost two years that Carolina has been favored in a game, but maybe the tide is finally starting to turn with the team being competitive in recent weeks, leading to covering the spread in five straight games. The difference between those games and this game is that they were an underdog of 6.5 or more in all five of those games, but are favored by three in this one. That’s a pretty big swing.

Jets vs Jaguars
The trend: The Jets are 3-11-1 ATS in their last 15 games as a favorite
The Jets favored? On the road? Outside of three points? Even against Mac Jones and the Jaguars, backing the Jets, who’ve been a complete dumpster fire, takes some serious courage. They’re currently on a 2-8 ATS slide while the Jaguars are managing to keep things close lately, going 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games. New York is favored by 3.5 points in this one.

Commanders vs Saints
The trend: Washington is 5-1 to the Over on their team totals on the road this season
The Commanders are averaging an impressive 28 points per game on the road and should be especially well rested for this game as they’re coming off their bye. The Saints have been very easy to move the ball against in New Orleans, where they rank 31st in yards allowed per play. The Commanders are favored by 7.5 and have a team total of 25.5.

Dolphins vs Texans
The trend: Miami’s road O/U record + Houston’s home O/U record is 2-9-1
This game has a total of 46.5 points which isn’t a mark the Texans go Over often. In their last 13 games with a total of 45 or higher, the Under has gone 10-2-1. Overs have been somewhat rare in Texans games as it’s only hit six times in the last 20 games.

Steelers vs Eagles
The trend: The Steelers are 7-0 SU and ATS in their last seven regular season games as an underdog
Mike Tomlin gets his squad up for high-level competition. Six of these wins have taken place this season, but going back even further, the Steelers are 14-4 SU and ATS in their last 18 games as an underdog in the regular season. They’re a 5.5-point underdog in the battle of Pennsylvania.

Bills vs Lions
The trend: The Lions are 11-2 ATS in the first half this season
Detroit has been a buzzsaw in the first half, especially at home, where they’re averaging 19 points in the opening half. This could be a great match as the Bills defense has had some rough starts on the road, where they’re allowing an average of 15 points in the first half.
Detroit is favored by 1.5 in the first half, or you can take them on the moneyline at -136.

Patriots vs Cardinals
The trend: The Cardinals are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite
They haven’t quite fallen off a cliff, but the Cardinals are approaching that territory after losing three straight games coming into this one. As a favorite this season, they’ve gone 1-3 SU and ATS and will be looking to bring a halt to this pattern as a 6-point favorite.
