It’s the final week of the regular season, and there's no shortage of games that could potentially affect your NFL picks.
Let's take a final regular-season trip around the outdoor venues where wind, rain, and other conditions are worth monitoring right up to kickoff.
Here’s the latest NFL betting weather report for Week 18.
Browns vs Ravens Weather
The first game of Week 18 goes Saturday and it’s expected to be a gusty one at M&T Bank Stadium, where the Baltimore Ravens will look to clinch the AFC North with a win over the hapless Cleveland Browns.
Temperatures are expected to be a crisp 32 degrees at kickoff, with winds hitting 17mph and higher gusts expected. The betting line on this one was a massive -18.5 for Baltimore, but these conditions have already dropped them down a point.
Baltimore is built to run if the conditions call for it, but it's important to note that kicker Justin Tucker has been a pedestrian 22-for-30 on field goals this year.
Bengals vs Steelers Weather
The second half of Saturday’s double-dip takes place in the Steel City, where it’s expected to be snowing at kickoff and a chilly 23 degrees. Wind is joining the party too, expected at 12mph with gusts reaching 21mph.
In ultra-mild conditions last week, Cade York nearly cost the Cincinnati Bengals, missing a chip shot for the win in OT. Luckily, Joe Burrow didn’t leave anything to chance next drive, throwing a touchdown pass to ensure the win.
Caesars currently has the Pittsburgh Steelers listed at +1.5, while BetMGM has lengthened from Cincy from -1.5 to -2.
Bears vs Packers Weather
This is set to be the coldest game in Week 18, with temperatures reaching a chilly 17 degrees at kickoff, though there will be some sun in the mix. Wind gusts could hit 12mph, so there could be some kicking hiccups.
Otherwise, the conditions should be fine for Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers to get their offense going against the Chicago Bears. The books have already lifted the total by a point, moving from 40.5 to 41.5.
Giants vs Eagles Weather
What possibly could Philadelphia Eagles fans want to be doing in temperatures that feel like 24 degrees, with a chance of snow and wind gusts hitting 22mph – with no Saquon Barkley?
The Eagles announced their freshly minted 2K runner will sit in the meaningless Week 18 matchup. That, more than the weather, has the total dipping.
Even though the New York Giants just hung 45 on the Colts, the books don’t imagine they’re hitting those highs against Philly’s backups. The total now sits at 37.5, and the O/U could plummet further if the conditions worsen closer to kickoff.
Chiefs vs Broncos Weather
Snow is expected in the forecast at Empower Field at Mile High, but it’s still a manageable 41 degrees, with wind nearly negligible at 6mph.
Those conditions can’t swing the line more than a “Patrick Mahomes OUT” headline already did, bringing the Denver Broncos to double-digit favorites in a win-to-get-in scenario.
However, the weather has encouraged the books to loosen up the total for their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Most sites are offering a 39.5 O/U, and if you look deep enough, you can find it at 40.5.
Texans vs Titans Weather
There’s the potential for a sloppy one at Nissan Stadium as the Houston Texans visit the Tennessee Titans. There’s an 80% chance of rain, and while the weather will hover around 40 degrees, wind gusts could hit as high as 19mph.
Tennessee has been in extended garbage time, but these aren’t ideal conditions for getting CJ Stroud and the struggling Texans’ offense into rhythm for the postseason. Still, the difference between Stroud and Mason Rudolph is abundant, and adding these elements has lengthened Houston’s odds as the favorite.
Originally set as a pick’em or Texans -1, most books have since moved Houston to -1.5.
