Philadelphia Eagles (-6) at New York Jets: Bet now

The Eagles hushed the haters with a dominating two-way win over the L.A. Rams in Week 5, cruising to a 23-14 victory as 4-point road favorites. Philadelphia stays on the road but doesn’t venture too far from the City of Brotherly Love in Week 6.

The Eagles opened as low as -6 at East Rutherford with some books jumping to -6.5 on Sunday night. Philadelphia threw around the Rams defense on Sunday, with 28 first downs, and feasted on TOP, spending almost 38 minutes with the football.

New York needed some last-second ugliness to avoid falling apart against the Denver Broncos, and while Zach Wilson is improving, his offensive line is hurting ahead to this run-in with one of the fiercest pass rushes in the land.

Anything under a touchdown is live for the Eagles, just make sure you get there soon enough to get it.

Best odds to bet Eagles -6 right now

New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans (+2.5): Bet later

Houston lost a squeaker at Atlanta in Week 5 but comes home to host the Saints, with the opener moving from +2 to +2.5 for the Texans.

The Saints scored 34 points in a one-sided win over the Patriots, but benefited from a dogshit New England attack that recorded only eight first downs and turned the ball over three times, including a pick-six.

New Orleans’ defense is a legit test, but the Saints are in a nasty schedule spot here in Week 6. This trip to Houston is the team's second straight road game and fourth in the past five games — all crammed into a 27-day window.

If you’re feeling Houston at home, wait it out and see if you can get a field goal with the market moving off recency bias.

Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals (Over 45.5): Bet now

To paraphrase John Wick, “Yeah, I’m thinking the Bengals are back!”

Joe Burrow’s calf looked great in Cincinnati’s slaughter of the Arizona Cardinals, with the QB passing for 317 yards and connecting with top target Ja’Marr Chase for 192 of those gains and all three touchdown passes.

The Bengals bring that revitalized offense back to Ohio where the Seahawks await in Week 6. Seattle is coming off a bye in Week 5 and the last time we saw them, they were bullying the Giants for a 24-3 squash on Monday Night Football in Week 4.

Seattle’s defense may have looked sound against the pop-gun G-Men, but this stop unit ranked 27th in EPA allowed per play before that Week 4 win and was especially bad versus the pass, giving up a success rate of 53.4% to passing games.

Luckily, Seattle can counter those defensive shortcomings with plenty of points. The Seahawks jumped out to a 21-3 lead against New York and slowed things down with the run, but this air attack can move the chains with a 52.6% success rate of its own.

This total has already jumped to 46 points at some books and will end up on the other side of 47 points at some point in the next seven days. Grab the Over as low as you can now.

Best odds to bet Over 45.5 right now

Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Under 45.5): Bet later

The Lions poured it on at home, flattening the Panthers 42-24 in a Week 5 catfight that blasted the closing total of 43.5 points.

Detroit has gone Over in three of its last four games and this matchup with Tampa Bay will likely see the number tick up, with the Lions expected to return top WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and RB Jahmyr Gibbs, who sat out Sunday’s win.

The Buccaneers were on a bye in Week 5 after a stunning start to 2023. Tampa Bay is 3-1 entering Week 6, thanks in large part to a defense sitting No. 5 in EPA per play and Top 10 in success rate allowed. That group is hoping to have some starters back in action after the time off.

The offense is overachieving but still sits 24th in success rate and could be missing top WR Mike Evans, who suffered a hamstring injury in Week 4. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has been… adequate. However, he faces a monstrous Lions defensive line that can get pressure without bringing the blitz.

Should this total climb and press books to raise it to 47, that would be a good spot to buy back the Under at the key O/U number.
