2025 4 Nations Face-Off betting analysis
Canada and Sweden went to overtime in the first-ever 4 Nations game, with Mitch Marner scoring the deciding goal for the Canadians. Finland drew first blood vs. the United States on Thursday, but the brothers Tkachuk erupted late as the Americans ran away with a 6-1 triumph.
After a day off Friday, Finland beat Sweden 4-3 on Saturday to send the Swedes to the bottom of the standings. Saturday night saw a potential preview of the final game of this tournament, with Team Canada playing Team USA and multiple early fights driving up the intensity factor. The Americans won 3-1 thanks to two goals from Jake Guentzel.
Day 3 saw the Canadians get off to a flying start, leading Finland 2-0 after just five minutes of action. Needing a victory in regulation to punch their ticket to the final, Canada held on for a 5-3 win, which rendered Monday's USA vs. Sweden game meaningless (Sweden won, 2-1).
Canada opened at plus-odds for the rematch with the Americans but closed on even terms at -110 when the puck dropped. Team Canada's Connor McDavid scored in overtime to beat Team USA in the final, 3-2.
