Best NHL Player Prop Bets Today, March 26: Ducks For Cover

Let's head to stack city for three groupings of point parlays, including pairing Ducks forwards Frank Vatrano, Troy Terry, and Ryan Strome against a road-weary Bruins team.

The swings continue. After a 0-3 Monday, Tuesday was much better with a 2-1 slate for +4.9 units. It’s a four-game schedule tonight, and there is plenty to choose from in terms of NHL player props

These are my three favorite NHL picks for Wednesday, March 26.

NHL player prop bets today

Best NHL player prop bets for March 26

Pius Suter + Jake DeBrusk + Brock Boeser Over 0.5 points each (+450 at bet365)

With Elias Pettersson and Nils Hoglander out, the Vancouver Canucks' top line of Brock Boeser, Jake DeBrusk, and new center Pius Suter is our targeted stack.

This line played nearly 14 minutes together at 5-on-5 on Monday, which was double the next-used line. All three also play on the top power play and each guy should see over 20 minutes of ice time with Vancouver still in do-or-die mode with a tight playoff race.

This could be a low-event game with a pair of playoff-hopefuls, but a top line at these minutes and PP1 correlated is a must at this price. Even DraftKings +375 is a bet here. This should be around +300 but books still struggle to price newly added members to a line as Suter is still plus money for a point.

This might have a total of 5.5, but the teams are a combined 12-7-1 O/U over the last 10 games, while the New York Islanders are on a nice little 5-0 O/U run since March 16.

Connor Bedard + Ryan Donato Over 0.5 points each (+175 at bet365)

The Chicago Blackhawks are live dogs today at a big price of +190 on the moneyline. The New Jersey Devils have dropped three games in a row, have a tough trip ahead after this game, and are dealing with a very worried locker room and a rift between players and head coach Sheldon Keefe. On top of that dysfunctionality, Jacob Markstrom is 1-6 SU since returning to the lineup with a 4.00 GAA and a .843 save percentage.

Connor Bedard has goals in three of his last four games and the team is finally playing him with Ryan Donato which is easily the best duo on the limited roster. The pair stacked on Sunday at home for +160 vs. the Flyers where the Hawks hung a seven-pack on Philly and Bedard and Donato combined for three goals and an assist. I’d buy this at the +168 DraftKings odds as well and think you can take this to +150 tonight at home vs. Markstrom.

Troy Terry + Frank Vatrano + Ryan Strome Over 0.5 points each (+525 at bet365)

The Boston Bruins have been a valuable fade down the stretch. They lost their best defender, their captain, and Charlie McAvoy, who is working his way back into the lineup. This will be the Bruins' last game of the California road trip, and they have been outscored 10-3 vs. the Kings and Sharks — both losses. The Bruins are in the middle of a six-game skid where their opponents have totaled 30 goals — allowing five or more goals in four of them.

The Anaheim Ducks are tough to get right as they roll three lines and two even power plays, so the price point is very important here. Another important thing is paying attention to beat writers. Derek Lee posted yesterday that the PP1 will change and reunite Troy Terry, Frank Vatrano, and Ryan Strome, which correlates to the top line.

If you aren’t greedy, Vatrano + Terry is +225, but the trio — in a good home offensive matchup vs. a Bruins team that can’t wait to wrap up the season — is +525. That’s an easy yes tonight with full Line 1 and PP1 correlation. If you’re a DK user, change the Strome point to an assist for +495. There is a big discrepancy in this one.
