We're a little over a month away from the 2022 Masters, but first, the attention turns to the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. The event has been played every year since 1966 when it debuted as the Florida Citrus Open Invitational.

Bryson DeChambeau won the 2021 event by a single stroke over Lee Westwood. DeChambeau had entered this year's tournament to defend his title, but he withdrew from the event on Monday morning.

Check out the live PGA Tour odds to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational below, teeing off from March 3-6.

Arnold Palmer Invitational pre-tournament favorites

Jon Rahm (+800)

Rahm, the current betting favorite to win The Masters, is atop the odds board to start the week. Since the beginning of January, the Spaniard has entered five events, made the cut each time, and registered a pair of Top-3 finishes. He hasn't finished worse than 21st this year but remains without a victory. Still, no one has a higher floor at this stage. This will be Rahm's first entry into the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Rory McIlroy (+1,000)

McIlroy entered the 2021 edition of the Arnold Palmer Invitational as the betting favorite at +900. A 4-over 76 on Sunday took him all the way out of contention and into a T10 finish. Nevertheless, McIlroy finds himself near the top of the board once again. His playing time has been limited this year, but he registered a 10th-place finish at The Genesis Invitational in mid-February. McIlroy has played well at Bay Hill, winning the tournament in 2018 while finishing sixth in 2019 and fifth in 2020.

Scottie Scheffler (+1,400)

Scheffler notched his first PGA Tour win at the WM Phoenix Open in February and has been a consistently strong player in 2022. He followed up his win with a seventh-place finish at The Genesis Invitational. He didn't play at Bay Hill in 2021, but he finished 15h in the 2020 edition.

Viktor Hovland (+1,400)

Hovland finished fourth at The Genesis Invitational two weeks ago, which was a nice rebound after missing the cut at TPC Scottsdale the week prior. Over the last three years, Hovland hasn't finished better than 40th at Bay Hill, though he's made the cut each time.

The rest of the field

Defending champion Bryson DeChambeau was on the board at +2,800 before ultimately withdrawing. A pair of fellow former Arnold Palmer Invitational champions in Tyrrell Hatton (2020) and Marc Leishman (2017) is also on the board at those same odds. Matthew Fitzpatrick, who finished as runner-up to Francesco Molinari in 2019, is available at +2,500.

Arnold Palmer Invitational notable sleepers

Jason Day (+5,000)

Day won the Arnold Palmer Invitational all the way back in 2016 and followed that up with a pair of Top-25 finishes at Bay Hill in 2017 and 2018. He was forced to withdraw partway through the ensuing two editions but came back to finish in 31st a year ago. Alternately, his odds to finish in the Top 5 are +1,1,00 on DraftKings.

Lee Westwood (+10,000)

The 48-year-old Westwood is no longer a constant presence on tour, but he did have a pair of second-place finishes in 2021, including this very tournament. He's a very deep sleeper at this stage of his career.
