With the Ryder Cup in the rearview mirror, the PGA Tour is returning to its regularly scheduled programming with this week's Sanderson Farms Championship at Country Club of Jackson.

We've got just one Ryder Cupper in the field after Team Europe sent the Americans packing over the weekend. That one is Ludvig Aberg, who had another inspiring week in Rome and is looking to take advantage of great form.

We break it all down in our Sanderson Farms Championship betting preview below, including live golf odds, free golf picks, and more.

Sanderson Farms Championship picks and predictions

Eric Cole Top 20 (+138)

There’s a lot to love about Eric Cole’s chances at a first Tour win this week and the odds board certainly reflects that considering he’s third behind Aberg and Jaeger in what is a super watered-down field.

He missed the cut here a year ago due to some consistently bad ball-striking numbers at that time — specifically off the tee — but he’s improved dramatically since and the results are hard to ignore.

In the last six months, he’s third in the field in total strokes gained and ranks seventh on approach and sixth from tee to green over that span, a far cry from who he was as a ball striker during the first half of the season.

He’s made 14 of 16 cuts since the Mexico Open with nine Top-25 finishes during that stretch. He finished fourth at the Fortinet Championship last time out and I love his chances again this week.

Pick: Eric Cole Top 20 (+138 at Unibet)

Ludvig Aberg over Stephen Jaeger (-120)

The Scandinavian is the best golfer in this field and it may not be entirely close.

He tops the field in total strokes gained over the last three months and ranks third from tee-to-green and fourth off-the-tee. The best part? He’s still got so much room to grow.

In the leadup to the Ryder Cup, he finished T4 at the Czech Masters, won the Omega European Masters, and went T10 at Wentworth. Then as a Ryder Cup rookie, he posted a 2-2-0 record and helped Viktor Hovland destroy Scottie Scheffler and Brooks Koepka 9&7.

Jaeger's profile is also strong and he's second on the board for a reason, but Aberg has translated his play into better results. There's a risk of emotional letdown for the Scandinavian, but this is about capitalizing on great form and the -120 price is hard to turn down considering he's as short as -150 elsewhere.

Pick: Ludvig Aberg over Stephen Jaeger (-120 at DraftKings)

Sanderson Farms Championship field and favorites

With back-to-back champion Sam Burns not in the field, this week becomes about one guy and one guy only: Ludvid Aberg.

Since February, he's won four college events, posted a handful of encouraging results on the PGA Tour, and won the Omega European Masters. That run quickly earned him a spot on the European Ryder Cup team — and he fit right in.

He posted a 2-2-0 record with both of those wins coming alongside Viktor Hovland, a tandem that highlighted the dominant European performance with a 9&7 thrashing of World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and Brooks Koepka on Saturday.

With all the momentum in the world, Aberg is getting right back to work this week and is a clear +1,200 betting favorite to win his first Tour event. Guys like Eric Cole, Stephen Jaeger, Emiliano Grillo, and Keith Mitchell round out the Top 5 in the 20/1 to 28/1 range.
