Manchester City have made it outside of their crisis room thanks to recent results. Pepe Guardiola expects another performance in North London, as the champions travel to face in-form Arsenal.

This match should have every ingredient to delight fans. Betting on goals is highly tempting but I will go for corners instead this time.

Here are my Arsenal vs. Man City predictions and betting picks for Sunday, February 2.

Premier League predictions for Arsenal vs Man City

My best bet:
Over 10.5 corners (+112 at TonyBet)

My analysis
It's no secret anymore that Arsenal are the set-piece kings of the season in the Premier League. They hit the net on 12 occasions from set-pieces, excluding penalties, as they sit at the top of the efficiency rankings.

Arsenal's aerial duel success rate stands at 51.24%, while Manchester City's is not bad either, at 48.46%. City have conceded only twice from set-pieces, excluding penalties, in the 2024/25 campaign, the joint fewest in the Premier League alongside Brentford.

One of those two was a Gabriel Magalhaes header from an Arsenal corner when the Londoners visited Manchester in September in a match that ended 2-2.

Five of the last ten Premier League goals Arsenal have scored past City came from corners. In the corner stats, City sits second with 176, while Arsenal is third, with 150. City's average is 7.65, while Arsenal's reaches 6.52.

I will stick to the Over 10.5 corners for a great return of +112 at TonyBet.

The Over 11.5 is also tempting at +170, so you might also consider the option.

Arsenal vs Man City same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 10.5 corners

Over 5.5 bookings

Phil Foden 1+ shots on target

After a slow start to the season, Phil Foden has found form. He scored six times in the Premier League in January, more than any other player.

Foden only needed six shots on target, so his efficiency was amazing. He will also look to decide things against Arsenal, so having him included in this parlay makes total sense.

I'll not go for a goal but for at least one shot per target next to his name.

When these two sides met in Manchester in September, referee Michael Oliver showed eight yellow cards and sent off Arsenal's Leandro Trossard.

These derby matches can easily get heated, and Peter Bankes, the man who will take charge this time, is no pushover. He showed at least five bookings in his previous three games.

So I see the extra tension leading to more cards on Sunday evening in London.
