LaMonte Wade Jr. tripled, doubled and drove in two runs, Brandon Belt homered and the host San Francisco Giants defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 5-3 on Friday.
Giants starter Johnny Cueto (5-3) gave up six hits and three runs in six innings with five strikeouts and no walks.
Jake McGee earned his 14th save with a scoreless ninth inning.
The Giants' fifth straight win has them 20 games above .500 for the first time since July 2016.
Andrew McCutchen homered, singled and knocked in two runs and Odubel Herrera also hit a home run for the Phillies.
Bryce Harper had two hits for the Phillies, who dropped to 1-3 on this current West Coast trip despite outhitting the Giants 7-6.
Phillies starter Vince Velasquez (2-2) lasted only four innings and allowed four hits and four runs, three earned. He walked four and struck out two.
The Phillies jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Herrera ripped a leadoff home run to center field in the first inning. It was Herrera's second career leadoff homer.
Jason Vosler hit an RBI single and Wade added an RBI double in the second as the Giants went ahead 2-1. A passed ball by catcher Andrew Knapp led to the third Giants run.
Philadelphia tied the game at 3 in the fourth when McCutchen blasted a two-run homer to center.
In the bottom of the fourth, Wade hit a triple just out of Herrera's reach in center and Cueto scored for a 4-3 advantage.
Belt hit a solo home run in the fifth as the Giants pulled ahead 5-3.
Harper appeared to be on the verge of a one-out double in the sixth, but he was thrown out at second.
In the ninth, Rhys Hoskins and Harper each flied out and McCutchen singled. Brad Miller grounded out to end the game.
