The Blue Jays hit four solo home runs, Sam Gaviglio pitched seven innings for his first win since May 25, and Toronto defeated the visiting Baltimore Orioles 8-2 Tuesday night.
Aledmys Diaz, Justin Smoak, Kendrys Morales and Billy McKinney homered for the Blue Jays, who have won the first two games of the three-game series and are 11-1 against the Orioles this season, 9-0 at the Rogers Centre.
McKinney's homer was the first of his major league career. He also had a two-run single and a walk. Morales added an RBI single.
Gaviglio (3-6) allowed two runs, six hits and one walk. He struck out seven. He had gone 15 starts without a win.
Cedric Mullins hit a solo homer for the Orioles.
Baltimore starter Dylan Bundy (7-12) allowed seven runs and 10 hits (including three home runs) while striking out three in four-plus innings.
The Blue Jays scored a run in the first. Curtis Granderson led off with a double, took third later on a double-play grounder and scored on a single by Morales.
The Orioles tied it in the second on an RBI single by Caleb Joseph after loading the bases with singles by Adam Jones, Tim Beckham and John Andreoli.
Diaz hit his 16th homer of the season in the bottom of the second to restore Toronto's lead.
The Blue Jays added three runs in the fourth. Morales singled and took third on Kevin Pillar's ground-rule double. McKinney hit a two-run single, moved to third on Richard Urena's single and scored when Renato Nunez booted Luke Maile's grounder to third.
Mullins hit his second homer of the season in the top of the fifth.
Smoak led off bottom of the fifth with his 19th homer of the season, and Morales followed with his 17th. Ryan Meisinger replaced Bundy and allowed McKinney's homer, and Toronto led 8-2.
Blue Jays reliever Jake Petricka pitched around a single in the eighth, and Justin Shafer overcame a leadoff walk in the ninth.
