Nick Castellanos' fourth hit of the night was a walk-off double in the ninth inning, giving the Philadelphia Phillies a come-from-behind, 4-3 victory over the visiting San Diego Padres on Tuesday.

Castellanos doubled twice, Kyle Schwarber added a home run and single and Brandon Marsh contributed two hits and an RBI for the Phillies, who strung together four straight hits in the ninth to erase a 3-2 deficit.

Phillies starter Aaron Nola gave up four hits and three runs with six strikeouts and one walk in six innings.

Jeff Hoffman (3-0) earned the victory after throwing a perfect top of the ninth as Philadelphia won its second game in a row.

Luis Campusano hit a two-run homer for the Padres, who have dropped five straight.

Padres starter Michael King tossed 4 2/3 innings and allowed six hits and one run with six strikeouts and three walks.

Robert Suarez (4-1) took the loss after allowing both runs in the ninth.

Schwarber blasted a solo home run in the eighth inning, his sixth this month and 17th this year, to pull the Phillies within 3-2.

Bryce Harper led off the bottom of the ninth with a single. Alec Bohm followed with a single as Harper advanced to third. Bryson Stott hit an RBI single to left to tie the score. Castellanos then hit a first-pitch fastball from Suarez for a double to right to end the contest.

Castellanos doubled to left field with one out in the fourth and Marsh followed with an RBI single for a 1-0 lead. Trea Turner later came up with the bases loaded and two outs and grounded out to third.

Donovan Solano singled to center with one out in the fifth for the Padres' first hit. Jackson Merrill struck out swinging, and Phillies catcher Garrett Stubbs threw out Solano trying to steal second.

David Peralta walked to begin the San Diego sixth, and Campusano followed with a two-run homer to center for a 2-1 advantage. The ball barely eluded Cristian Pache as he jumped at the wall, resulting in Campusano's fifth long ball of the year. Tyler Wade singled, went to second on a flyout and came home on Jurickson Profar's two-out single for a 3-1 lead.
