Indiana plays its fourth and final game in the Indiana Challenge on Saturday at home against South Dakota State with a chance to start the season 7-0 for the first time since 2012-13. It's the Hoosiers' final game against a low- or mid-major program before stepping up to stronger competition starting with a game against Florida State on Tuesday.

An 88-75 victory over Louisiana Tech on Monday night was the closest of Indiana's three games in the Challenge. The Hoosiers won the previous two contests against Princeton and Troy by 25 and 38 points, respectively, but South Dakota State could be a more formidable foe. The Jackrabbits have won the Summit League regular-season championship in each of the past two years and have already faced three teams from major conferences this season, losing to USC, Nebraska and No. 14 Arizona on the road. Since a seven-point loss at Arizona, South Dakota State has won two in a row, beating Mississippi Valley State and Samford at home earlier this week.

ABOUT SOUTH DAKOTA STATE (6-3): The Jackrabbits, picked in preseason to finish fifth in the Summit League, have undergone a transformation this season after losing four starters and their coach from a team that played in the NIT in March. First-year coach Eric Henderson's team is led by newcomer Douglas Wilson, a 6-foot-7 junior who was the national junior college player of the year last season. Wilson averages a team-best 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 60.8 percent from the field and senior point guard Brandon Key, who redshirted last season, contributes 11.7 points and a team-leading 4.4 assists.

ABOUT INDIANA (6-0): The Hoosiers' high-octane offense, which ranked second nationally entering Friday at 90.2 points per game, could be poised to have another big afternoon against a team whose defense hasn't been its strong suit. Indiana has received contributions from its starters and bench players, but freshman Trayce Jackson-Davis stands out with averages of 15 points and a team-high 8.8 rebounds while shooting 71.8 percent from the field. Junior Al Durham leads the Hoosiers in scoring at 15.2 points while shooting 60.8 percent from the floor, and senior Devonte Green and graduate transfer Joey Brunk have played well in the past two games, averaging 16 and 14 points, respectively.

TIP-INS

1. Indiana G Rob Phinisee has missed two of the last three games with injuries.

2. The Hoosiers led the country in free throws made (23.2 per game) and attempts (30.8), and were fourth in field goal shooting (53 percent).

3. Indiana's 24.3-point average margin of victory is tied for the best mark in the Big Ten.

PREDICTION: Indiana 93, South Dakota State 63
