South Florida aims to win three straight games for the first time this season when Drexel visits on Sunday. The Bulls' last eight games have featured two losses, two wins, two more losses and two more wins - most recently a 19-point victory over Dartmouth.

USF allowed only 15 field goals in the 63-44 win over Dartmouth, which shot 34.1 percent from the field and 6-of-21 from 3-point range against the Bulls. USF ranks in the top 25 nationally in scoring defense (59.2 points) and has not given up more than 74 points in any game so far. In fact, in their five victories, the Bulls have given up 41, 55, 55, 55 and 44 points - an average of 50 points allowed. Their defense certainly will be a challenge for Drexel, which has lost all four of its road games so far.

ABOUT DREXEL (5-5): The Dragons fell to La Salle 71-63 in their last game as James Butler scored 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting but the rest of the team was just 15-of-48 from the floor. Zach Walton contributed 19 points on 6-of-17 shooting and is second on the team in scoring (13.1 points) behind Butler. A junior forward, Butler averages 14.6 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks - all team highs - and shoots nearly 58 percent from the floor - also best on the squad.

ABOUT SOUTH FLORIDA (5-4): David Collins (14.4) is the leading scorer for USF and Laquincy Rideau (12.6) isn't far behind, but they were relatively quiet in the win over Drexel. Antun Maricevic gave the team a lift with 10 points in 12 minutes on 5-of-5 shooting, earning the praise of coach Brian Gregory along the way. "The guy who played really well for us (down the) stretch was obviously Antun," Gregory said. "We were able to throw the ball into him. There was no tiptoeing through the tulips. It was, 'You put your shoulder down and attack the basket.' He did a great job of that and that really gave us a big lift."
