Last Meeting ( Mar 23, 2019 ) Arkansas 60, Indiana 63

A pair of unranked teams with one loss apiece wrap up the non-conference portion of their seasons Sunday when Arkansas travels to Indiana. The Razorbacks and Hoosiers remain outside the Top 25 because of schedules that are considered weak and both could use a win to enhance their resumes.

The teams will meet for the third time in 13 months. Arkansas won a regular-season game at home last November and Indiana prevailed in an NIT matchup in March. The Razorbacks have won two in a row this season since an 86-79 overtime loss at Western Kentucky on Dec. 7 but haven't played since Dec. 21. Indiana has also been off since Dec. 21, when it edged Notre Dame 62-60 in the Crossroads Classic in Indianapolis for their third straight win since a Big Ten loss at Wisconsin on Dec. 7.

TV: 6 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network

ABOUT ARKANSAS (10-1): The Razorbacks have a different makeup than they did a year ago with new coach Eric Musselman and a guard-oriented lineup that has the ability to score from the perimeter. Their two biggest weapons are backcourt players Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe, who averaged 19.6 and 16.9 points, respectively. But Arkansas also relies on a defense that holds opponents to 59.7 points per game (18th nationally entering Saturday) and 21.7 percent on 3-point shots (first).

ABOUT INDIANA (11-1): The Hoosiers will have a size advantage Sunday, but have had some trouble this season with smaller, quick lineups like the one they'll face against Arkansas. That could lead coach Archie Miller to rely more on his guards, especially now that Armaan Franklin, who made the winning 3-pointer with 15.7 seconds left against Notre Dame and was named co-Big Ten Freshman of the Week, continues to become more comfortable. Another freshman, Trayce Jackson-Davis, remains Indiana's leading scorer and rebounder at 15 points and 8.9 boards per game, but the Hoosiers have four players with scoring averages in double figures including senior Devonte Green, who finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds in the NIT win over Arkansas last year.

TIP-INS

1. A win would give Indiana an undefeated record in non-conference play for the first time since the 2011-12 season and their first 12-1 start since 2012-13.

2. Indiana is 7-0 when point guard Rob Phinisee, who has missed five games with injuries, is able to play.

3. Jones has shown a penchant for making big shots, burying a big 3-pointer in an overtime win at Georgia Tech and hitting two late 3-pointers to help rally the Razorbacks to a 72-68 win over Valparaiso in their last game, and is also shooting 93 percent from the free throw line.

PREDICTION: Indiana 69, Arkansas 65
