Last Meeting ( Dec 27, 2008 ) Bryant 51, Maryland 72

No. 12 Maryland looks to get back on track when it wraps up non-conference play at home to Bryant on Sunday. The Terrapins raced out to a 10-0 start for the first time since 1998-99, but have dropped back-to-back games, including a 52-48 loss to Seton Hall on Dec. 19 to fall out of the Top 10.

"We're not playing with a lot of confidence right now," Maryland coach Mark Turgeon told reporters. "We don't look like the same team we were three weeks ago." Maryland was held to a season-low 26.9 percent shooting while committing 17 turnovers against the Pirates, and aims to regain its shooting touch after being limited to its lowest offensive output in a game since joining the Big Ten Conference in 2014-15. The Terrapins are averaging 77 points per contest in College Park compared to 58.5 in their two road losses, and hope to extend their non-conference home winning streak to eight games. Bryant has won all four of its games in the month of December following a 64-60 victory against Dartmouth on Dec. 21, and can set a new program record for the most non-conference wins in a season with nine if they upset the Terrapins.

ABOUT BRYANT (8-4): Ikenna Ndugba registered 14 points, five assists and one steal to move within one steal of overtaking Corey Maynard (116) for second place on the program's all-time list while Michael Green added 13 points off the bench in the win against Dartmouth. Mikail Simmons and Benson Lin each scored 12 points while Hall Elisias grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds to go along with six blocked shots. Adam Grant tallied six points to help the Bulldogs become the fourth team in the country to record four true road wins this season.

ABOUT MARYLAND (10-2): Anthony Cowan led the Terrapins with 16 points, but finished 3-of-14 from the field and committed five turnovers, in the loss to Seton Hall. Aaron Wiggins added 11 points and seven rebounds while Jalen Smith flirted with a double-double by producing 11 points and nine boards against the Pirates. Maryland suffered a big blow to its front court depth with the news that freshmen twin forwards Makhi and Makhel Mitchell have entered the transfer portal with immediate effect.

2. Smith is averaging 12.2 rebounds over his last four games.
