Top-ranked Gonzaga tries to extend the nation's longest active home winning streak to 31 when it meets Detroit Mercy on Monday in its final non-conference game. The Bulldogs are coming off a 112-77 victory over Eastern Washington on Dec. 21 and have defeated the likes of No. 7 Oregon, Washington, No. 24 Arizona and North Carolina since Nov. 28.

"This is as good a run as we've been on," Gonzaga coach Mark Few told reporters. "It's been an amazing three weeks: tough game, tough game, tough game. We need a break." The Bulldogs, whose only loss was to Michigan in the Battle 4 Atlantis title game, are second in the nation with 88.2 points per game. Detroit Mercy lost at in-state foe Oakland 78-69 on Saturday after defeating SIU-Edwardsville 81-55 on Dec. 21 for its second victory of the season. The Titans have lost to North Carolina State, Clemson and Notre Dame this season by a combined 80 points and dropped 25 in a row against ranked opponents.
