Last Meeting ( Dec 17, 2016 ) Jackson State 57, Baylor 82

Sixth-ranked Baylor looks to continue its winning ways when it finishes the non-conference portion of its schedule at home to Jackson State on Monday. The Bears currently own the fifth-longest winning streak in nation after earning their eighth straight victory following a 91-63 rout of UT Martin two weeks ago, and they hope the holiday break doesn't rob them of their momentum, as they aim to go undefeated in the month of December for the eighth time in the last 13 years.

"Sometimes teams go on holiday before the last game's over and our guys didn't," Baylor coach Scott Drew told reporters. "They stayed locked in and did a great job focusing."Baylor has won all eight meetings with Jackson State by an average margin of 26 points, and hopes to continue its dominance in the rivalry by improving to 59-1 against current members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Bears have won 64 of their last 68 non-conference home games dating back to Dec. 12, 2012, and hope to keep rolling by reaching 10 wins before January for the sixth time in the last seven seasons. Jackson State's two-game winning streak came to an end after a 77-49 loss to No. 10 Memphis on Dec. 21, and it hopes to end the decade with a bang by pulling off the huge upset in Waco.
