Texas coach Shaka Smart was looking for some passion after the Longhorns were routed by 38 points against No. 15 West Virginia. He finally saw it, albeit a bit late against LSU, and will look to see it again as the Longhorns try to snap a three-game losing streak when they visit TCU on Wednesday.

The Longhorns seemed listless falling behind by 16 points with 15 minutes left against the Tigers before going on a 22-4 run to take a brief lead before bowing 69-67 on Saturday. “The biggest thing is the mentality and mindset … changed in the second half when we got down,” Smart said. “It’s about the mindset. It’s about how aggressively you play.” TCU is 3-0 at home in Big 12 games this season with wins over Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Kansas State. However, in the latest contest, Saturday at Arkansas in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, the Horned Frogs dropped a 78-67 decision.
