Last Meeting ( Jan 26, 2019 ) Dayton 75, Fordham 52

Obi Toppin and Jalen Crutcher are roommates who transform into a dynamic duo on the court, leading Dayton to a No. 7 national ranking and a 10-game winning streak. Toppin is a national player of the year candidate and Crutcher has elevated his game as the Flyers try to continue their mastery of struggling Fordham on Saturday in an Atlantic 10 game.

First-place Dayton, which has lost only to third-ranked Kansas and No. 21 Colorado, has won 15 in a row over the Rams and 15 straight meetings at home. Crutcher became the 49th player in school history to reach 1,000 points when he scored 18 in Wednesday's 73-69 victory at Duquesne. "It means a lot," Crutcher said to reporters about the milestone. "I'm thankful for it. I couldn't do it without God and my teammates and my coaches and my family" while Toppin told the media about Crutcher: "He helps us every single day. He's a really good leader. We're all proud of him for getting that 1,000th point." Fordham has lost two straight and 11 of its last 13 games after Wednesday's 62-55 overtime setback to St. Bonaventure.
