Last Meeting ( Feb 1, 2020 ) Oklahoma State 69, Oklahoma 82

Oklahoma is in need of victories to strengthen its postseason resume and it seeks a season sweep of host Oklahoma State when the teams meet Saturday in Big 12 play at Stillwater. Junior forward Brady Manek matched his career best of seven 3-pointers and poured in 30 points to lead the Sooners to an 82-69 home win over the Cowboys on Feb. 1.

Oklahoma is coming off back-to-back losses to third-ranked Kansas and top-ranked Baylor but hasn't dropped three straight games all season. "I feel like we do a pretty good job of moving on, whether from a win or a loss," senior forward Kristian Doolittle told reporters after Tuesday's 65-54 home loss to Baylor. "We've got to take the positive things from this game and try to implement those in our next game." Oklahoma State has struggled mightily in Big 12 play and coach Mike Boynton gave mixed reviews of the team's effort in Tuesday's 65-47 road loss against West Virginia. "What we have to do is figure out how we respond," Boynton said after the defeat. "They have another big game coming up, as all of them are in the Big 12, so start getting ready for that one."

TIME: 4 p.m. ET. TV: ESPN2

ABOUT OKLAHOMA (16-10, 6-7 Big 12): Manek fell one point shy of his career high in the first meeting but the player averaging 15.3 points with a team-leading 66 3-pointers was just 2-of-12 from behind the arc while averaging 8.5 points in the losses to Kansas and Baylor. Doolittle leads the Sooners in scoring (15.6) and rebounding (9.1) and he tallied 18 points against Baylor to fall just short of his fourth straight 20-point outing. Junior guard Austin Reaves averages 13.6 points and a team-best 2.9 assists but he is just 5-of-19 shooting over the past two games.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA STATE (13-13, 3-10): Senior forward Cameron McGriff scored 19 points against West Virginia and he has reached double digits in seven straight contests, including a 15-point effort in the first meeting with the Sooners. McGriff leads the team in rebounding (6.8) and his scoring average of 10.8 is third behind co-leaders Isaac Likekele and Lindy Waters III, who are at 11.1. Likekele, a sophomore guard, had just five points on 1-of-7 shooting against the Mountaineers while Waters, a senior guard, had four points while making 2-of-8 shots.
