Last Meeting ( Dec 12, 2018 ) Southeastern Louisiana 47, Mississippi 69

Breein Tyree is in one of those zones that most players can only dream about and the senior guard tries for another big offensive night when Ole Miss hosts Southeast Louisiana on Saturday in Jackson, Miss. Tyree scored a career-high 34 points in an 82-64 victory over Middle Tennessee on Dec. 14 after totaling 42 in the previous two games.

"What happened, he really got it out of offense,'' Ole Miss coach Kermit Davis told reporters about Tyree. "Second half, he tried to dribble and manufacture it, and he got himself into trouble. That's when he had his couple turnovers. When you make a couple buckets and you can get going, the freedom of allowing a guy to let him play through a hot streak is great." Tyree made a career-high eight 3-pointers on 11 attempts versus Middle Tennessee and is 13-for-23 from beyond the arc and 23-for-46 from the field in his last three games. Southeast Louisiana fell at Lamar 79-73 in overtime Wednesday, losing for the fifth time in six games since starting 2-2. The Rebels defeated the Lions 69-47 last season in Jackson and have won all 18 meetings.
