After rallying to defeat TCU in overtime in the semifinals, Clemson will now try and take down 24th-ranked Colorado in the championship game of the MGM Main Event on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Tigers, who have won five in a row since a season opening loss to Virginia Tech, used a 15-0 run over a seven-plus minute span at the end of regulation to send their game with the Horned Frogs into OT before pulling out a 62-60 victory.

The 15-point second-half rally marked Clemson's biggest comeback victory since 2011. "That was a remarkable win," Tigers coach Brad Brownell said. "I was really proud of how our players defended. I told them throughout the game to just keep defending. This is one of those wins where you keep grinding and hanging in there and hope for something good to happen." Unbeaten Colorado can relate after overcoming a ugly offensive first half (6-of-26 shooting, eight turnovers) in its 56-41 semifinal victory over Wyoming that was tied 15-15 at halftime. "There's going to be some nights when the ball's not going in," Colorado coach Tad Boyle told cubuffs.com. "That's why defense and rebounding travels. You can always be good and solid on that end of the floor and you have to do that to stay in games."
