With its longest winning streak in 17 years behind it, Oregon State will try to get back in the winning frame of mind when a sky-high North Dakota team visits on Sunday. The Beavers had their seven-game winning streak snapped with a 64-49 loss at Texas A&M on Dec. 21.

Oregon State opened up a 33-22 lead against the Aggies in the opening minute of the second half on a three-point play by Tres Tinkle but got outscored by 26 points the rest of the way to fall to 1-2 against major-conference teams this season. Trinkle, one of two players in the country averaging at least 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists, scored 21 points on 6-of-14 shooting but had four turnovers against one assist and missed four of his 11 free throws. None of his teammates reached double figures, as the Beavers shot 3-of-21 beyond the arc and was outrebounded 46-32. North Dakota is coming off its first win against a major-conference opponent since joining Division I in 2009-10 with a 75-74 victory over Nebraska on Dec. 21.
