Oklahoma Sooners vs Oklahoma State Cowboys Match Player Stats On Nov 30, 2019

Jalen Hurts had 163 yards passing and scored touchdowns throwing, rushing and receiving as No. 7 Oklahoma rolled past No. 21 Oklahoma State 34-16 on Saturday in Big 12 Conference play in Stillwater, Okla.

The Sooners (11-1, 8-1 Big 12) will play Baylor, a 61-6 winner at Kansas on Saturday, in the Big 12 Conference championship game Dec. 7 in Arlington, Texas. Oklahoma has defeated Oklahoma State five straight times in the Bedlam Series.

Hurts was 13-of-16 passing and added 16 carries for 61 yards. Kennedy Brooks led the Oklahoma rushing attack with 160 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

The Cowboys (8-4, 5-4), who had a four-game win streak snapped, will await their bowl invitation. Dru Brown passed for 207 yards and an interception in the loss, while Chuba Hubbard, the nation's leading rusher, managed 104 yards on 24 totes for Oklahoma State.

Oklahoma wasted no time asserting itself on offense, moving 78 yards in four plays, capped by Hurts' 28-yard touchdown run for a 7-0 lead 1:46 into the game.

The Cowboys responded on their opening drive, as Hubbard's 3-yard TD run capped an 8-play, 76-yard march that tied the game.

The Sooners added a 42-yard field goal by Gabe Brkic with three minutes to play in the opening quarter. On the next drive, Nick Basquine took a reverse and hit Hurts with a 4-yard TD pass on the first play of the second quarter, expanding the Oklahoma lead to 17-7.

Matt Ammendola booted a 43-yard FG with 9:40 left before the half to bring Oklahoma State within 17-10, but Brkic answered from 27 yards out four and a half minutes later.

The Cowboys had the ball last in the half and drove 77 yards in 13 plays for Ammendola's 25-yard field goal on the final play to bring Oklahoma State to within 20-13. Ammendola's third field goal came from 26 yards early in the third quarter.

Oklahoma ripped off a 93-yard, 11-play drive that consumed 6:19 of the third quarter and culminated in a 3-yard touchdown run by Brooks and a 27-16 lead for the Sooners with 3:22 left in the frame.

Hurts hit Brayden Willis with a 3-yard TD pass early in the fourth quarter to finish off the Cowboys.
