Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Oklahoma Sooners Match Player Stats On Nov 21, 2020

Spencer Rattler threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns and Rhamondre Stevenson ran for 141 yards as No. 18 Oklahoma beat No. 14 Oklahoma State 41-13 on Saturday night in Norman, Okla.

The Sooners scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to put the game away.

Until then, the game felt much like losses to Kansas State and Iowa State -- and a quadruple overtime win over Texas -- early in the season, where the Sooners built leads early and then let them slip away.

But Oklahoma (6-2, 5-2 Big 12) put this one away with Stevenson's big fourth quarter. Stevenson had 73 rushing yards in the fourth.

The win was the Sooners' fifth consecutive and put Oklahoma squarely in the race for a berth in the Big 12 Championship Game after losing its first two conference games.

Oklahoma built a 21-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the game, knocking out Cowboys' starting quarterback Spencer Sanders in the process.

Ronnie Perkins' sack of Sanders late in the first quarter knocked the redshirt sophomore out of the game until the fourth quarter.

But even with that big early lead, the Cowboys were in the game until the fourth quarter.

That's when Stevenson took over.

His first carry of the fourth went for 25 yards and a play later, Rattler hit Jeremiah Hall for a 30-yard touchdown for the Sooners' first touchdown since the first quarter.

Then after the Cowboys, down 34-13, elected to punt instead of going for it on fourth-and-8 from the Sooners' 39, Stevenson once again quickly provided a lift.

The punt pinned the Sooners at their own 1 but Stevenson had 30 yards on the first play to move Oklahoma out of the shadow of their end zone and spark a 99-yard touchdown drive -- capped by Theo Wease's second touchdown reception of the game -- to put the game away.

The Cowboys (5-2, 4-2) managed just 246 yards of total offense, with just 78 on the ground.

Chuba Hubbard, who had more than 100 yards in each of the last two Bedlam matchups, had just 44 yards.
