Oregon Ducks vs Washington State Cougars Match Player Stats On Nov 14, 2020

Sophomore quarterback Tyler Shough, making his first career road start, threw four touchdowns as No. 11 Oregon rallied for a 43-29 Pac-12 Conference victory against Washington State on Saturday in Pullman, Wash.

Shough completed 21 of 30 passes for 312 yards for the Ducks (2-0 overall, 2-0 Pac-12), who trailed by 12 points late in the first half.

Oregon's CJ Verdell rushed 18 times for a game-high 118 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Jaylon Redd made five catches for 99 yards and running back Travis Dye caught two TD passes.

The Ducks' Cyrus Habibi-Likio scored on a 1-yard run with 1:40 remaining to help clinch the victory.

For Washington State (1-1, 1-1), true freshman Jayden de Laura was 25-of-39 passing for 321 yards and two touchdowns. Renard Bell was his favorite target, with 10 catches for 158 yards and a score.

The Cougars' Deon McIntosh, a transfer from Notre Dame filling in for the injured Max Borghi for the second consecutive week, rushed 16 times for 92 yards and a TD.

The Ducks trailed 19-7 after a 49-yard field goal by Washington State's Blake Mazza with 20 seconds left in the first half.

Oregon's Mykael Wright returned the ensuing kickoff 39 yards and Shough hit Redd for a 57-yard completion on the next play to reach WSU's 3-yard line. Verdell scored on a 3-yard run with three seconds left before the intermission to give the Ducks momentum going into the half.

A 16-yard touchdown reception by Dye with 3:26 left in the third gave the Ducks a 21-19 lead.

Oregon scored 22 points in the fourth quarter, including on a 71-yard pass from Shough to Dye.

Oregon scored the first time it had the ball, marching 92 yards in 15 plays. Shough capped it with a 13-yard touchdown pass to tight end DJ Johnson for a 7-0 lead.

The Cougars responded with 19 consecutive points on de Laura scoring passes of 18 yards to tight end Lucas Bacon and 4 yards to Bell, plus a pair of field goals from Mazza.
