Kyle Trask threw four touchdowns and Kadarius Toney scored three times to spark No. 10 Florida to a 41-17 victory against Missouri on Saturday night in a game marred by a halftime skirmish between the teams at Gainesville, Fla.
The Gators (3-1, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) played for the first time since being sidelined by a COVID-19 outbreak following an Oct. 10 loss at Texas A&M. Florida outgained the Tigers 514-248 in total offense.
Toney teamed with Trask on two TD pass plays in the final 1:41 of the first half, then ran 16 yards on a jet sweep for another score that capped the first drive of the second half and gave Florida a 27-7 lead over the Tigers (2-3, 2-3).
Trask also connected with Justin Shorter and Trevon Grimes for scores and finished 21 of 36 for 347 yards and one INT. The redshirt senior has thrown 18 TDs through the first four games.
Toney, a senior receiver, finished with four catches for 60 yards.
The melee started after a final first-half play on which Trask was hit by Missouri's Trajan Jeffcoat well after the quarterback released the ball, which fell incomplete.
Several players on each team were seen throwing punches. On-field officials gave every player on both teams an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
Three players -- Florida redshirt junior defensive lineman Zachary Carter and freshman linebacker Antwuan Powell, and Missouri redshirt senior linebacker Tre Williams -- were ejected from the game. Carter and Williams were starters.
Toney's two scoring receptions within 33 seconds late in the first half gave Florida a 20-7 advantage.
After Toney scored on an 18-yard screen pass from Trask, Gators linebacker Brenton Cox Jr. recovered a fumble by running back Tyler Badie on third-and-1. That turnover set up Trask's 30-yard TD pass to Toney with 1:08 showing.
Defensive back Jarvis Ware returned an interception 59 yards to give Missouri a 7-6 lead at 12:54 of the second quarter. Blitzing linebacker Nick Bolton hit Trask as the quarterback threw the ball, which flew off target and into Ware's hands.
Missouri redshirt freshman quarterback Connor Bazelak finished 26 of 40 for 208 yards.
Florida backup Chris Howard kicked first-quarter field goals of 28 and 32 yards.
The Gators wore retro uniforms similar to those worn during Steve Spurrier's time as UF quarterback in the 1960s.
