Running back Tyler Williams scored two touchdowns and Air Force ran over Georgia State 48-14 on Saturday at Colorado Springs, Colo.
Four Falcons had touchdown runs and quarterback Nate Romine rushed for 124 yards as Air Force improved to 2-0.
Air Force rushed for 464 yards, converted on 13 of 19 third downs and enjoyed a 31-minute advantage in time of possession.
Georgia State quarterback Conner Manning threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Ari Wertz, and Kendrick Dorn had a short touchdown run for the Panthers.
Following the program's first bowl appearance, the Panthers are off to an 0-2 start. They managed just 27 yards rushing Saturday.
Air Force led 27-14 at halftime and opened the third quarter with a quick five-play touchdown drive, capped by an 18-yard touchdown run by Timothy McVey.
Shayne Davern and Jacobi Owens also had touchdown runs for Air Force.
The Panthers had some early success and were in the game midway through the second quarter. Glenn Smith's 88-yard kickoff return set up Dorn's short touchdown run, cutting the Air Force lead to 20-14 with 8:45 left in the second quarter.
The Falcons scored the next 21 points, though, and took a 41-14 lead into the fourth quarter.
Manning completed 8 of 24 passes for 135 yards with the one touchdown. Georgia State receiver Robert Davis had 79 yards on three receptions.
