THE STORY: Indiana looks to get first-year coach Kevin Wilson his first victory when the Hoosiers host Virginia. Indiana dropped a 27-20 decision to Ball State last week, while Virginia was impressive in its season-opening 40-3 drubbing of William & Mary. The Cavaliers will be looking for their first 2-0 start since 2005 when they opened 3-0, while the Hoosiers look to secure their 10th straight home-opening win.

ABOUT VIRGINIA (1-0): The last time Virginia won a road opener was in 2005, a 27-24 victory over Syracuse. Quarterback Michael Rocco completed his first 11 passes in his first career start before finishing 21-of-29 for 174 yards. Redshirt freshman tailback Kevin Parks rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns to become the first Cavalier to rush for three TDs in a debut since Bob Davis in 1964. Virginia's defense held William & Mary to only 169 yards of offense, including 48 rushing. Kicker Robert Randolph, who kicked a career-best four field goals, is tied for third on the all-time ACC field goal percentage list at 82.9 percent (34-of-41). Randolph has made 14 of his last 15.
ABOUT INDIANA (0-1): The Hoosiers had won seven straight season openers before last week. Indiana has won 26 of its last 29 home openers. Edward Wright-Baker passed for 272 yards and a touchdown in his first career start last week. His favorite target was Demarlo Belcher, who hauled in four receptions for 101 yards and a TD. Belcher is the active leader in the Big Ten Conference in career receptions (168) and receiving yards (2,040). Indiana also has an outstanding kicker. Mitch Ewald, who made both of his field goal attempts last week, is 18-of-21 in his career (86.7 percent). He is also 35-for-35 on PAT attempts.
EXTRA POINTS
1. This will be the second meeting. The Cavaliers crushed the Hoosiers 47-7 in Charlottesville in 2009, gaining 536 yards of offense as Mikell Simpson rushed for four touchdowns.
2. Virginia and Indiana both used a lot of young players last week. The Cavaliers had 12 freshmen play, the third highest total among FBS schools, while Indiana used nine freshmen, 10th highest.
3. A set of brothers - Indiana's Paul Phillips and older sibling Colter of Virginia - will meet, although both are tight ends.
PREDICTION: Indiana 27, Virginia 24 - The Hoosiers get their first win of the year. Wright-Baker will make enough plays and the Indiana defense will come up with some stops in the fourth quarter.
