THE STORY: No. 7 Oklahoma defeated previously unbeaten Kansas State 58-17 last week and will probably need to run the table if it hopes to secure a Big 12 title and advance to its fifth BCS bowl game in the last six years. The Sooners racked up a season-high 690 yards against the Wildcats, who entered with the conference’s top-ranked defense. Texas A&M, meanwhile, suffered a devastating 38-31 overtime loss at home to Missouri, falling to 3-2 in Big 12 play in the process. Oklahoma has won four of the last five meetings.

Ryan Broyles caught 14 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown and broke the Big 12’s record for career receiving yards with 4,449.
