Mississippi @ Tulane preview
Mercedes-Benz Superdome
Last Meeting ( Sep 11, 2010 ) Mississippi 27, Tulane 13
Mississippi looks to bounce back from its worst home loss ever when it visits New Orleans to battle winless Tulane. Ole Miss, which allowed 66 points against Texas last weekend in front of a record home crowd, seeks its 11th straight win over the Green Wave, who will be playing for the first time since losing senior safety Devon Walker to a career-ending spinal injury at Tulsa on Sept. 8. Walker has been in a Tulsa hospital since the accident but is expected to be moved by the weekend.
TV: 12:00 p.m. ET, FSN. LINE: Mississippi 17.5
ABOUT MISSISSIPPI (2-1): Quarterback Bo Wallace has passed for 616 yards and six touchdowns while receiver Donte Moncrief leads the SEC and ranks 11th in the nation in receiving yards per game (106.). After missing the season opener, Jeff Scott has gained 206 yards on just 20 carries the past two games. The Rebels are second in the SEC in total offense (500.7) and rushing (245.0), and lead the league in fewest penalties per game (3.7). The 108 points scored in the first three games is the most since 2003 when the Rebels tallied 117.
ABOUT TULANE (0-2): The Green Wave are coached by first-year mentor Curtis Johnson, who was the wide receivers coach for the New Orleans Saints for six seasons. QB Ryan Griffin was knocked out of the Tulsa loss two weeks ago but is expected to start vs. Ole Miss. He has completed 41 of 61 passes for 314 yards and a TD. WR Ryan Grant has 11 catches for 219 yards and a TD in two games.

2. Ole Miss true freshman RB and return specialist Jaylen Walton has scored a touchdown in each of his first three games, finding the end zone three times on only 11 touches.
3. Former Ole Miss standout running back Deuce McAllister will be inducted into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame this weekend.
