Last Meeting ( Sep 22, 2007 ) Army 17, Boston College 37
A pair of struggling teams will lock horns at Michie Stadium on Saturday when Army hosts Boston College. The Black Knights are still seeking their first win of the season after failing to score a touchdown in a 23-3 home loss to Stony Brook last week, while the Eagles are fresh off a 45-31 loss to No. 17 Clemson. Army hasn't prevailed over Boston College since a 49-7 decision in 1995.

ABOUT BOSTON COLLEGE (1-3): The Eagles kept it close against a talented Clemson squad last week but were overcome in the second half to fall to 0-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Quarterback Chase Rettig threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns against the Tigers and Alex Amidon pulled in eight catches for a career-high 193 yards and a pair of scores. Rettig's 323 passing yards per game is good for second in the ACC and 11th among all FBS quarterbacks. Boston College's defense is led by linebackers Nick Clancy and Kevin Pierre-Louis, each averaging double-digit tackles and among the nation's individual tackling leaders.
ABOUT ARMY (0-4): The Black Knights enter play having lost eight straight overall dating back to last season. Senior quarterback Trent Steelman set Army's all-time record for rushing yards by a quarterback (2,362) last week and has amassed the fifth-highest career rushing total - regardless of position - in Army history. The 23 points surrenderd to Stony Brook was Army's lowest total this season and the first time holding an opponent to less than 40. Excluding a 41-40 loss to Northern Illinois, the Black Knights have been defeated by an average margin of victory of just over 22 points per game this season.
EXTRA POINTS
1. Boston College has won 13 of its last 14 against Army, including five straight, and has the all-time edge in the series 24-12.
2. Army's triple option attack has accounted for 1,470 rushing yards this season, good for sixth in the nation.
3. Boston College started 1-3 a year ago as well and finished 4-8 - its first losing record since the 1998 season.
