Despite losing two straight games, Iowa still has an opportunity in its remaining slate to crawl back to the top of the Legends Division and earn a berth in the Big Ten title game. That opportunity includes a visit Saturday to Indiana, which has lost four straight in the series. The Hawkeyes are looking to rebound from a 28-17 setback at Northwestern in which they gave up 349 yards on the ground. The Hoosiers recorded seven sacks in a 31-17 win at Illinois last Saturday which snapped Indiana's 11-game losing streak in Big Ten play.

ABOUT IOWA (4-4, 2-2 Big Ten): James Vandenberg became the seventh quarterback in Iowa history to surpass 5,000 yards passing last week. However, it was too little too late for the Hawkeyes, who fell behind 28-3 before a rally fell short. Iowa forced the game's only two turnovers and ranks 13th in the country in turnover margin (plus-8). Six of the Hawkeyes' 15 takeaways have occurred in the red zone, which is where Indiana thrives; the Hoosiers rank fifth in the nation in red zone efficiency, scoring on 34 of their 36 trips.

ABOUT INDIANA (3-5, 1-3): Coach Kevin Wilson's crew has already scored more points (274) than it did all last season after last week's win. The Hoosiers lead the Big Ten in passing offense, rank second in total offense and are third in scoring offense. It was the defense, however, that shined against the Illini. In addition to the seven sacks were a season-high 12 tackles for a loss. Freshman Nate Sudfeld came off the bench to throw for two touchdowns and add more fire to the starting quarterback debate. Sophomore Cameron Coffman was pulled after throwing an interception in the first quarter. Sudfeld has completed 63.1 percent of his passes and has seven touchdowns against zero interceptions.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Indiana is the only FBS team to not lose a fumble this season. Iowa has lost only two, which is the third-fewest in the nation.

2. Four of the Hawkeyes' eight games have been decided by three points or less.

3. Iowa owns a 42-27-4 series advantage. It has won its last two games in Bloomington.

PREDICTION: Indiana 24, Iowa 21
