ABOUT BOSTON COLLEGE (2-6, 1-4 ACC): The Eagles needed a touchdown strike from Chase Rettig to Jonathan Coleman with 52 seconds to play to get by the Terrapins last week for their first win since a Week 2 decision over Maine. Rettig has averaged 275.5 passing yards this season, good for fourth in the conference and 21st in the nation. Junior wide receiver Alex Amidon leads the ACC and is fourth in the country in receiving yards per game with 117.8. Williams set a career-high earlier this year, compiling 191 rushing yards in the loss to Army.
ABOUT WAKE FOREST (4-4, 2-4 ACC): The Demon Deacons fell behind early against Clemson, giving up five first half touchdowns on the way to a blowout loss. Despite the absence, Campanaro's 44 catches rank him sixth in the conference and his 7.3 catches per game is an ACC-best.The Wake Forest defense has had a tough time getting off the field this season, allowing opponents to convert on more than 46 percent of third down tries, ahead of only Boston College in the conference.
