Kansas @ Baylor preview

Floyd Casey Stadium

Last Meeting ( Nov 12, 2011 ) Baylor 31, Kansas 30

Kansas and Baylor sit at the bottom of the Big 12 Conference standings but one will pick up its first league victory Saturday in Waco. The host Bears have one of the nation's most prolific offenses but one of the worst-ranked defenses. Baylor has dropped four straight conference games but has never lost to Kansas at home (5-0). The Jayhawks continue to show improvement under first-year coach Charlie Weis and nearly upset Texas last week before the Longhorns handed Kansas its 17th straight conference loss with a 21-17 comeback victory. Kansas won't qualify for a bowl game and the Bears have a tough schedule - with four Top 25 teams following Kansas - to get three more wins.
