It has been a humbling season for Auburn. The Tigers will play for pride in the last two and try to send the seniors out with a victory in their final home game on Saturday against Alabama A&M. Auburn, which concludes the season at Alabama on Nov. 24, owns its worst SEC record since 1952 and has allowed 101 points in its last two league games. The Tigers hope to unleash their talented skill players against the experienced and eager Bulldogs, including running back Onterio McCalebb and receiver Emory Blake. Alabama A&M will be playing an SEC team for the first time in its history as it closes out the season with a talented group, which started with six straight victories. The Bulldogs have lost three of four since in SWAC play.

ABOUT ALABAMA A&M (7-3): The Bulldogs have had a tough time defensively of late, allowing 89 points over the last three games. Defensive back Vernon Marshall, who has recorded double-figure tackles in five games this season, leads that unit. Alabama A&M will try to control the ball with an experienced offense. Senior Kaderius Lacey has rushed for 891 yards this season and has 2,776 in his career, the most in the program’s history. Senior quarterback Deaunte Mason has thrown 16 touchdown passes with only four interceptions. His top target is sophomore Montaurius Smith, who has 45 receptions for 511 yards.
ABOUT AUBURN (2-8, 0-7): Freshman Jonathan Wallace has appeared to take over the quarterback duties and has fared quite well in the last three games, completing 30 of 47 passes for 467 yards. He has thrown three touchdown passes and a pair of interceptions. His first look will be to Blake, who has 45 receptions for 713 yards this season and 1,946 in his career. McCalebb is only the second SEC player to gain 2,000 rushing, 1,000 on kick returns and 500 receiving. He has averaged 6.4 yards per carry in his career, this best in Auburn history. Running back Tre Mason is also a threat for the Tigers with 739 yards rushing and six touchdowns.
